Papercreator Happy Birthday Challenge

I love the over the edge cards from Papercreator they're so straightforward to print and cut but look so effective once they're all put together. Plus they're perfect for this month's challenge of Happy Birthday over at the Blog
I've taken the second photo to try and show some of the layers in the kit which is called Kitty - Triple Over the Edge Card and added a sentiment by Imagine that stamps and some buttons from my stash.

Friday again

Sorry I've been so quiet lately I've been stacked out with Christmas orders for Little Gingham Bear and have lots of fairs booked in between now and Christmas.

This is my granddaughter's birthday card - can't believe where the last 12 months have gone.

Just a wee Scotty post

I so love my Silhouette - this was such a quick card although I had a few problems as I forgot the stick and spray on my cutting mat so the card kept running about. Just added a button and a sentiment

Gone Fishing

Tall child needed a last minute birthday card for one of her friends - eternally organised - NOT!
What do you want on it I asked - fishing she said - 10 minutes later finished card as the Papercreator Gone Fishin Topper set was perfect for the job. The only thing I added was the embossed card and the sentiment.

Is it a dog or is it a rabbit?

Rabbit - definitely. I love this High Hopes Stamp. I have a small collection and love all of them as they're perfect for my style. I made this card ages ago but have been such a rubbish blogger lately that I never got round to posting it.

Pink or Blue It's up to You

There's another new challenge at Papercreator today and it's pink or blue.

I've used one of the countdown to Christmas stepper cards for my project - the number of days is according to Google the amount of days left - not to worry you or anything.
I'm going to have it sat on my stall today at Burton Road in Lincoln - you can drop in and meet owls if you happen to be passing.

Fairytale Friday

Image: TEDDYBEA_277 (precoloured)
Background: Birds Cards Cut file
Sentiments: Whimsy Cards & Blonde Moments
Card Base: Silhouette Cameo

Can't believe it's Friday round again already. Although it's a good day as it's sausage and chips day so hubby doesn't need a pack up.
I just managed to sneak in with my card this morning as I've been having awful laptop issues again this week - fingers crossed it seems on so far today.
I've managed to blag the stall next to some real live owls tomorrow at a craft fair I'm doing so am really really excited - I have been instructed to sneak one home as hubby would love one as a pet - not gonna happen!!

Ikkle Bunny

Another one from the Papercreator mega bundle of toppers - this bunny comes in a square but I had to cut her out for my card as she just didn't look right with the circular base. As with all the others you get a sheet of toppers and an A4 backing paper sheet although this stars one is a left over from a Forever Friends kit

Happy 18th!

I have a Silhouette cameo and I'm not afraid to use it! Last minute card designed and cut out in max 1/2 an hour. You can use any font on your computer to just make a word or number then slightly overlap to enable you to weld them jobs a good un! I used the offset feature to cut out the 18 in patterned paper and another one to serve as an insert - simple, quick and (I think) effective.

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

This was a scary card as it was my first ever 8x8 thank goodness for digital kits coz I could print off  the 8x8 decoupage layers that are already included in the Christmas Tree Quick Card Kit from Papercreator.

I finally caved and bought some more Christmas sentiments this year and this Believe one is part of a set by Kaisercraft. I even dug out some My Minds Eye papers for the background and the bunting - amazing what you find when you buy some new storage and have a sort out

Late again for Papercreator

I was full of good intentions to be on time this month unfortunately my laptop decided to die again so I couldn't get anything uploaded and hubby wasn't in a fit state to fix it! - anyway enough of my bleating.

It's a new challenge over at Papercreator at the moment with a theme of die cuts and punches. I've used the kick it kit for my card what I really like is you don't have to use the whole kit for each card so for this one I just used one layer from the decoupage sheet (rest to be used on card for next week - squeak!) which I cut out with my largest circle nestie (wobbly circle cutting) the stars are a Sizzix framelits die and the border is Nellie Snellen I think. Circle card base cut with Silhouette cameo (still bestest birthday present ever!)

Do you think he saw us???

This cute little guy is once again part of the topper Mega Bundle Kit and other than a Lili of the valley sentiment and 2 bits of card candy everything else is included.

Strangely enough I've got several more of these printed off so expect to see a few more shortly...................

Bear with me!

Apologies for being such a rubbish blogger just at the mo I'm really really busy with the run up to Christmas craft fairs and several orders and unfortunately something has to give!

I just love this bear which is no surprise as you see him quite often so I've made a new baby card with him he's part of the Papercreator Toppers Mega Bundle (again)

Wednesday, 11 September 2013

How much is that doggy?

and the answer would be not a lot as he's another topper in the Papercreator mega bundle along with the matching backing paper paper from the kit I've added an offcut of My Minds Eye Bohemia paper that I had sitting about.

If you'd prefer a different dog - try one of THESE

Wednesday, 4 September 2013

Purple Owl Purple Owl...............

I've used another topper from the Papercreator Mega Bundle kit today - this cute purple owl. There are loads in the kit and each one comes with an A4 sheet of toppers plus a matching backing paper. I've just added a sentiment and some gems and the jobs a good un!

Papercreator Challenge

Well it's only a week later than it was supposed to be - the last week of the school holidays always goes by in a flash fortunately! I've used a topper set for my card today called Little Dress - it's available as part of a mega bundle which has loads and loads of toppers for just about every card imaginable or you can get the 6x6 card kit HERE

I only added a couple of flowers a few buttons and some ribbon and here's my card it is actually bright pink but it was far too bright when I took the picture

New Paper Creator Challenge - Just Bears

When I was asked to choose the theme for the new Papercreator Challenge it took me about a nanosecond - so guess what it's Just Bears this time and we're having a bit of a break to allow us to have a holiday in fact as you read this I should be on my way to Koh Samui for some R&R (that's reading and relaxation in my case)
I've used the Teddy Cuddles 6x6 Card Kit today. I made the card using the jumble pyramage and the frame using the card layers and one of the decoupage layers that you get as well. These kits are such brilliant value for money and you only need to print off the bits you need.

New Home

I'm still working through the pile of images that I printed off at least 18 months ago so here is a Bugaboo House with an Imagine that sentiment. I was going to cut some clouds out but couldn't be bothered lol!

Plain clean and neat - just what I like in a card. This one like most of my cards can be bought on eBay or at one of the fairs I'm attending this year have a look at the tab on my brand new gingham website for details

Awwww a Baby.............................. Seal

I just love this image - you can never go far wrong with a penguin.

Sentiment: Blonde Moments
Paper: Making Memories

Nom Nom Nom

Who doesn't love a cupcake - not sure I'd like one with a mouse peering out of it though lol!
This is another cute pre-coloured Sassy Cheryl image from Papercreator. You should really nip over and look at the choice and it takes the headache out of colouring all the fiddly bits and choosing a colour scheme.

The sentiment is made from the Whimsy Scrabble Tiles Alphabet

Quick and very Pink

Sometimes a card just falls together and this one with a cute Bugaboo girl was one of those. Can't beat polka dots and throwing a load of buttons at a card to finish it off.

Sentiment: Lili of the Valley

Image: TEDDYBO_108
Paper: Papercreator & My Minds Eye
Sentiment: Blonde Moments

We're on the last few days of school here at the moment although I don't think my tall child has had a proper lesson for well over a week. She spent Tuesday at an athletics meeting, Wednesday was "enrichment day" and today she's at the Hunger  Humber Games playing Dodgeball!
I am wondering where the last year has gone and how I'm going to survive the next 6 weeks without being destitute at the end of it *grin*

Wednesday, 10 July 2013

The end is coming.....................................

Of the school year here in England anyway - I've used these 2 cute images by Sassy Cheryl available pre coloured from Papercreator for my cards today - am loving these pre-coloured ones as I can magically keep between the lines!

I can't believe it's time for another challenge at Papercreator already and this time our theme is Think Pink!

Something Old Something New Flipper Pyramage Kit (just the main layer)
Paper: Nitwits - Warm Fuzzies
Heart die cut & Ticket Sentiments : Whimsy Stamps
Gems: £1 shop
Card Base - Silhouette Cameo

Friday Again

Happy Birthday Father-In-Law

It's my lovely father-in-laws birthday today and what else do you put on someone from Lewis' card other than the Callanish Standing Stones?
And a bit of embossing and a sentiment and voila!

Monday, 1 July 2013

1st of July Already!

Pinch Punch first of the month again already and I have a very quick card to share with you just an A5 card blank made from a sheet of card from my stash, some red to mat and layer, a sentiment from Imagine That stamps and this gorgeous Sassy Sally pre-coloured image called My Favourite kind of Weather from Papercreator.

Am loving these coloured images I hadn't coloured one myself for weeks until today will show you him tomorrow.............................

Fairytale Friday

Paper: Craftwork Cards
Frame: Silhouette Cameo

I've been really busy just recently but had this idea for some frames. They stand up on their own and are about 4.5 inches high and 5.75 wide

Caravan Card

My husband asked me to make a retirement card for someone at work who had just bought a caravan.
This topper set from Papercreator called Gone Camping was just perfect for what I wanted and was easily made to fit the A5 card so there was enough room for everyone to sign it.

A sentiment from Imagine that stamps and some papermania flowers with button centre and the card was sorted

With Sympathy

I really dislike making and sending this type of card but it's a necessity sometimes unfortunately.

papers are both by Michele Roos from Whimsy Stamps and sentiment by Imagine That stamps.
I resized the papers layered them onto black card to create a border and stamped the greeting.

Gone Fishing

This weeks card is for Father's Day which was 16th June here in the UK I made this one for tall child to send to her dad - tongue in cheek sentiment from me lol!

The Papercreator kit I've used is called Good Catch and has sentiments as well as papers and the decoupage for the bear - I've used a sentiment from Lili of the Valley.

It's Father's Day

Happy Father's Day everyone. This is the card that I made tall child for her step-dad. Wouldn't dare say that it reminds me of him at all lol!....

Father's Day Tomorrow

I always try to make my Father-In-Law a Scottish and preferably Isle of Lewis themed fathers' day and birthday card. It seemed like a good idea at the time but 10 years later I'm kind of struggling.................

This is an image off the internet that I've printed onto photo paper for a bit of a shine and matted and layered onto a DL card then added some tartan ribbon which is similar to the correct Morrison one.

Lots of Sparkle with Papercreator

Can't believe it's already a month round and time for another challenge at Papercreator! The theme this time is Sparkle! Unfortunately as me and glitter just don't get on although I do keep trying I've resorted to glitter card and gems for my sparkle and you can never go wrong with a bear.

I've made my card with the Make A Wish shaped Easel card I love easel cards they're that bit more special and with this one you can just print and cut it no dodgy measuring.

Teddy Bo Father's Day

 Image: TEDDYBOBEA_126
Paper: My Minds Eye
Sentiment: Woodware and Clevercut Stamps

It's Father's Day in the UK on Sunday and I had a commission for 2 cards for her daughter's godfathers for the day. They are both the same layout but the different paper seems to make a big difference to how they look
