Another year older...............

Not me I hasten to add - I'm not having extra birthdays in fact I really don't want any more.

We have a thing in our house about bears (obviously) penguins and elephants and each year I find a new one for hubby's birthday.

This is the Papercreator penguin quick card front  which has both an 8x8 option used above and 6x6 which I made up below without the buttons. The sentiments on the top one are by Blomde Moments

Papercreator Happy Birthday Challenge

I love the over the edge cards from Papercreator they're so straightforward to print and cut but look so effective once they're all put together. Plus they're perfect for this month's challenge of Happy Birthday over at the Blog
I've taken the second photo to try and show some of the layers in the kit which is called Kitty - Triple Over the Edge Card and added a sentiment by Imagine that stamps and some buttons from my stash.

Happy 18th!

I have a Silhouette cameo and I'm not afraid to use it! Last minute card designed and cut out in max 1/2 an hour. You can use any font on your computer to just make a word or number then slightly overlap to enable you to weld them jobs a good un! I used the offset feature to cut out the 18 in patterned paper and another one to serve as an insert - simple, quick and (I think) effective.

Teddy Bo is 1 with a hop

I really can't believe the bears are 1 and to celebrate we are having a birthday blog hop!!!

There are some fabulous prizes to be won, including vouchers and candy, and there is also a chance to win a Teddy Bo and Co digi stamp from each member of the wonderful design team.

Bo was being very naughty while I was trying to make my card and kept jumping about all over the place so unfortunately some of his balloons popped and I had to replace them with chipboard and die cut ones.

I've used TEDDYBO_168 who is new today and made him purple as it's my husband's favourite colour. He's been working in Scotland since August and hasn't been home for 2 weeks now so am going to stick a picture of myself in it so he recognises me LOL!!!???!!!

Anyway who's up for a hop?????

You can find all the serious details back at the Teddy Bo challenge blog and if you get lost on the way you can nip back there to get directions and maybe a glass of Turnip Tequila or two HIC!!!

Basically..............................

  • Collect a letter from each of the design team's blogs . . . keep these in a SAFE PLACE, you will need these letters at the end of the blog hop as they will make a mystery phrase!
  • Each of us is also offering a prize along the hop, all we ask is you follow each of our blogs and leave  us each a comment to be in with a chance of winning.
  • Re-arrange the letters you have collected and go back to the Teddy Bo challenge blog to tell us what the phrase is.
  • The blog hop will end on Monday 23rd January (noon GMT), so you have a while to enter and also hop along with us!
There is also another chance to win some fabulous Candy on the Teddy Bo Challenge blog too, so you have oodles and oodles of chances of winning.

If you arrived here from Helle's blog then you are heading in the right direction.
My letter is … A just in case you couldn't guess before my cerise promarker ran out :c)
From here you need to hop over to Claire's blog for another chance to win a Teddy Bo graphic and collect the next letter.

I'm off to help with the Haggis hunting as we have a special birthday tea planned and Gayle has great ideas for the menu so I've been practising a special song to catch the tartan ones:

Ho hum, ho hum, Bo tripped and hurt his bum.
He fell on Bea who raised her knee
and now...........
he's feeling very numb..........

(To the tune of Hi Ho from Snow White)

Have a furry hugging fortnight

DD had to go to a birthday party this afternoon so I needed a quick make card.

He is Liverpool mad so put the players names into wordle together with the name of the birthday boy and put some footballs on in the team colours.
