Quilted Bea!

It's Friday already - yet again! I have no idea where my life is disappearing to lol!
Our challenge over at Teddy Bo is use a heart and I've used the same layout papers and colours for my card on Tuesday and changed the image - well they were all out over the desk :c)

Peeking Penguin

It wouldn't have been hubby's birthday without a penguin of some sort :c)
I printed this guy out months and months ago and have now forgotten where he came from.
The heart is a Nellie Die

He holds an IOU for a weekend in Amsterdam - hopefully when it's a bit warmer!!!!!

Another D'Arcy!

We have a new release of D'Arcy's today but I've used one from the last lot as I've promised myself that I will wade through the huge pile of printed images I have on my desk before I print any more.

I did find a new black ink cartridge this morning looking for something else so I may have told myself a small fib as technically I need to use the old one up to declutter a tad (well every little helps) lol!

Some random bits I put together to make a card lol!
Think the paper might be Funky Fairies and the image may be Designed to Delight.
I do know the sentiment is Craftwork Cards

The wonderful thing about Tiggers

Is he's the only one I'll be stitching for a while especially with the gingham border!!!
It seemed like a good idea at the time and looks lovely but it was definitely a labour of love.

This definitely qualifies for the Craft Your days Away challenge of stitching as there are just a few on it lol!

Have a Heart at Teddy Bo

I think Bo looks like Val Doonican here with his snazzy jumper :c)
Guess I'm really showing my age here but Saturday night tv just isn't the same now lol!

Our new theme over at Teddy Bo this time is use a heart and I went with completely non-traditional colours for my card today

If Pigs Could Fly

Just a flying visit from me today - no pun intended I'm still having problems with Blogger letting me post piccys. And these ones are quite awful as it never got light here today so I had to use fake light which lit up the foil on the papers like a Christmas tree.

Watch for the Bee!!!

I've had this Sassy Cheryl digi for ages and haven't used it until today - it's called there's a bee on your nose but am not sure if it's still available.

It really reminds me of Christopher Robin and Pooh Bear although I don't think he ever wore denim shorts lol!
The blue paper is Funky Fairy with  plain mocha one from Pink Petticoat under the image and for the paw prints punched border. The shimmery ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. Sentiment from Imagine That Stamps.

Having made my valentines card for the year (although he won't be getting it unless he behaves) I've used things I love instead.

So there is blue, gingham buttons and even an ikkle cute bear on the Mo's Digital Pencil Image :c)

I've been having awful problems with blogger as well so please accept my apologies for not having popped over to see some of you - all I can see is your blog header - grrrrrr

Fairytale Friday

Thought I'd share the tutorial that I did for the Teddy Bo & Co blog today as I seem to have completely lost the ability to organise myself this week - that's what not going to work does for you!!!
I've not even managed my daily 4 mins 33 secs of Zumba this week (ok I'm a tad unfit!)

Am sure it must be hubby's fault for being here and causing Meltdown Monday rather than disappearing up to Scotland either Sunday afternoon or at stupid o'clock Monday morning - his car is fixed allegedly will see how long it  lasts this time
Anyway I've done the tutorial this week for a mini book style gift box
So what do you need?
Card to make the box - I've used a sheet of 12 x 12
Paper to decorate
Ribbon or lace
Teddy Bo Image - I've used TeddyBo_049 (the rubber stamp)
Scoreboard
Cut 2 pieces of card - one 6 1/2 inches square, the other 3 1/2 by 7 1/2
Score 1 inch and 2 inches from each side - these measurements will make you a box that is 2 1/2 inches square by 1 inch tall.
Cut away the corners as in the picture above to leave tabs and apply tape or glue then fold up into a double walled box.
Score the other piece of card 3 1/4 inches from each of the shorter ends to make the outside.
Then decorate as you wish.
I've used ribbon here to tie the box closed. I stuck it to the front of the box with tape then folded it up before attaching it to the back to make sure it would close without pulling too tight.
I've stuck the box into the cover using tape as I'm not very good with wet glue
Then all you need to do is fill it with treats. I originally made these to hold the favours at my wedding but Bo and Bea hadn't been born then so they had hearts on lol!
I hope you will have a go at making this - you can adjust the size by changing the measurements but make sure you allow enough for both sides before you cut your card - how many times have I done that making boxes???!!!???
Maybe you would like to enter one into our anything goes challenge which we still have running and don't forget to check and see if you're the lucky winner of one of the blog hop prizes.
Have a furry hugging week
