Creative Card Crew #16

Just bought this cute mouse image and thought he would be great for this challenge.
Coloured in with whispers pens and layered up using Craftwork Cards cupcakes collection
embossed with tiny bubbles and added a flower. Not sure where the sentiment came from but think it's a papermania one.

Charisma Cardz Challenge # 25

From an idea that's very popular on MSE at the moment.
Paper is Daisy Bucket Nantucket Island from Papermaze
The image is a new clear stamp that I got at a bargain price from eBay the sentiment was free with a recent issue of DoCrafts creativity magazine and Card Candy from Craftwork Cards

MSE Fantasy Challenge and Truly Scrumptious #10

I used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious as inspiration for this one.
The handmade papers are from a Mic pack that I've had for absolutely yonks!

Funky Fairys - Challenge 22

I really had to think about this one as I found the sketch a real challenge.
The background paper which is also on the inside is from the free swirls collection.
The stamps are the Mack Collection from Tanda
It's really subtle colours compared to my usual stuff but as it's a wedding card I didn't want to go too OTT :c)

Charisma Cardz Challenge # 24

In true Libran fashion I couldn't decide whether Diamonds are a girls best friend should be diamonds the shape or diamond as in bling so I used both on this ATC which I'm going to use to decorate a notebook cover for my very pink friend.

I stamped my favourite bag stamp (had it for ages but have absolutely no idea where it came from so the stash fairy must have brought it) and embossed it with bridal embossing powder (managed not to glitter the cat this time), coloured in the flowers and added some Papermania gems. Punched some flowers and added a pink border to them then put it all together with the co-ordinating Cup Cakes papers from Craftwork Cards.

Only another 5 notebooks to go now!

Sketch & Stash Challenge 13

There's a fabulous sketch on
Sketch and Stash
this fortnight.
I used my new piggy stamp and flowers both from eBay :c)
The paper was lurking in a box and I remembered I had a sizzix photo corner die for my birthday in October that I had never used so definitely neglected.

The pic also shows an ATC that I made as I wanted to use my piggy for something else.
papers for this are Funky Fairys and the oink is a clear alphabet set from Clever Cut

You can't tell very well from the pic but both piggys are layered onto foam pads and are 3 layers each - large letter stamp here I come again - good job Superdrug had 5% off stamps last week :c)

Crafty Place May ATC or Fat Page Swap

As I was running the challenge this month and had decided on the theme as "Feeling Blue" I though I had better make both an ATC and a Fat Page.
The bear stamp is from Xela stamps the rest of it came from my stash

Where is my life going?

I really don't know what's happened the last couple of weeks.

Why does the rest of my life get in the way of my crafting? LOL. I don't seem to have had any time to make anything and I have so many ideas flying round in my head and have missed loads of challenges that I would love to have entered.

Anyhoo will make a really really big effort this week as there are some great ones about again including loads of sketches which are my favourites :c)

Crafty Place June Challenge

When Saveapenny set this month's challenge I was stumped to put it politely.
Found these great scrapbooking stickers in The Works for 99p and was over the moon (yep easily pleased!)
The picture is of Barnaby Bear who belongs to DD's school and had to come on holiday with us send a postcard and have his photo taken. So here he is sunning himself in Goa layered up on bright yellow card with some blue and yellow organza ribbon and the aforementioned stickers.

Sketch & Stash Challenge 12

I needed a pink card for the Crafty Place card swap this month.
I really don't do pink and found the paper lurking at the bottom of a pile - so definitely neglected as I'd forgotten I even had it.
I used my new stamped image from MSE Rainmac, and flower brads with added pink gems.
Also neglected was the card candy and the star punch.

It's very pink!

Quick Make Father's day cards

Quickmake Father's Day cards - I've now made all I need to make.
Dog image was sent to me by MSE Rainmac. Buttons are Sizzix Die Cuts and Paper is Dovecraft Abstract prints.

My step dad loves boats but was stuck for an image. This one is a holiday photo from Goa.
Paper is Dovecraft Abstract Prints again - had it out so used it - lol!

I did put it together but the book rings I had were too big. So just had to do an order from the Glitter Pot

My Time to Craft Challenge #65

There'a a fabulous sketch on My Time to Craft this week - I had to straighten Tilda though as she looked odd on squint!

Papers are Papermania Swwet Nothings. Stamped image from Rainmac on MSE and the rest was from my stash.
I hope my friend's granddaughter likes her card.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #8 - Card with lots of folds

It's a Me To You step stair card using an image I bought from eBay and Papermania Raspberry Papers with centres made from glitter card.

Charisma Cards Challenge # 22 - Pink and Brown

I've gone a bit ATC mad at the moment.
Pink paper is Papermania Sweet Nothings
Bear stamp from Xela Crafts inked and chalked in brown
Sentiment from Dovecrafts mini stamp set also inked in brown.
Added ribbon, eyelets and gems with a mini star as an engagement ring.

More Mackintosh Inspired Fat Pages

3 more Fat Pages for the book I've decided to make for MIL birthday (aided by a mini splurge on eBay)
The first one uses Stampendous Glasgow Butterfly Stamp which I stamped onto Funky Fairy paper then embossed it and cut another 2 embossed ones from cream card and mounted them onto the original stamps with mini foam pads.
The second one is based on a brilliant sketch done for the MSE challenge by flourgirl and uses Stampendous Glasgow Rose Garden stamp. The flowers have been glazed with Diamond Glaze. Funky Fairy free purple papers and ribbon from Boyes bargain bin.
The third one uses Funstamps Glasgow Motif 1 yet more Funky Fairy papers Hope collection this time and more ribbon from my Boyes rummage.

I've yet to do the covers and have my eye on some these stamps from Tanda to add to my collection but have to sneak them past OH :cP

Funky Fairys - Challenge 19

Funky Fairys has a recipe this week.

1 piece of ribbon that I bought from a bargain bin in Boyes yesterday

Creative Inspirations Challenge #10

Now I've started making ATCs I needed a box to put them in - ok I know any excuse!

This weeks challenge is brown and blue 2 of my favourite colours although I'd not put them together before.
The box is darker turquoise than in the pic and is 4" wide by 3 1/2" high.
Lace made using my new fiskars sunburst border punch.
Flowers with 2" and 1" woodware punches
Stamped swirls are Technique Tuesday Whirly Gigs from Papermaze accented with clear Papermania adhesive stones

Must make myself some dividers :c)

Something completely different - Birds Twinchie

I found the Something Completely Different blog last week but didn't find time to enter their challenge.

This weeks theme is birds so I got out my trusty Funstamps star penguin stamp embossed and coloured him and trimmed him to fit.
Added a cuttlebug die cut scalloped square in some paper from Craftwork Cards aptly called chilly and added a snowflake
