Taggy Bo Tuesday

I've used Bundle Of Goodies on my project for the new Teddy Bo challenge today - It's add a tag. I was struggling to add one so did it the other way round and added Bo to an actual tag lol! I love Bo's face on this one like he's not sure if he's bought the right thing.......................
I've added a thank you stamp from personal impressions and think I might turn it into a soppy thank you for being my dad card if I can write well enough. The paper has been doodled by our very own ClaireBears.

Please hop over to see what the other girls are up to and to see the new releases - there are some fantastic ones this week maybe you can add a tag and enter the challenge with them

Yippee!

Please excuse the squint photos but these twisted easels are impossible for me to take decent photos of. This card is for someone at work who is lucky enough to have been granted VR. After a lot of faffing around she was told on Thursday that she only had another week to work.
I've used the aptly titled Teddy Bo image called Yippee and even cut up some of my favourite My Minds Eye Papers that I've been stroking for ages lol!

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow for a new Teddy Bo challenge.

Challenges:
Crafty Catz - furry friends
AI Factory - party animal

Pink & Red

I've used the sketch from the sweetest thing as I seem to be a bit layout challenged at the mo and as I had the day off yesterday was determined not to waste it umming & ahhing.

I've used Bea with a little friend and papers from The Memory Box - am quite surprised how red and pink look together.
Don't forget you still have a little while to enter the current Teddy Bo Punch It Challenge before the new one on Tuesday.

I'd like to enter her into Digital Tuesday use a female image

Thursday 14 April 2011

New Baby

Another picture taken on the run this morning but far better than the other one :c) The layout is the Pixie Cottage sketch this week although I haven't used the theme unless I can cheat by saying that new baby cards are usually given to the mummy :c)

I finally got to use my Hobby Art stamp that I got in the Sir Stampalot New year sale. Papers are Back to Basics II - I really must put these away and get something else out of the drawer - I very nearly used my MME ones but bottled it again lol!
A spoonful of sugar - all creatures
ladybug crafts ink - Celebrations

Less Is deffo More this week

This is a really rubbish picture as it looks like the card is all crumpled - but that's what happens when you make a card when you're supposed to be getting ready for work and have to take a pic as you dash out the door to deliver it and make it to work with 2 mins to spare (Bonus)

My friend has just become a grandma for the second time so took this in for her this morning. Definitely less is more and have now managed 3 weeks in a row :c)

Chocolate covered Bo!

This really isn't a dieting image but how yummy does that cake look???? Of course it had to be chocolate cake! But this one is calorie free of course - how good is virtual cake - you can get your slice here
Papers are Wild Rose Studio, sentiment is from Personal Impressions and card candy and ribbon from stash.
Don't forget there is still time to enter the challenge at Teddy Bo using a punch

Shannon's sentiments - include an animal
Totally Gorjuss - anything fluffy

Lexi - monochrome

We're still punching it at Teddy Bo this Tuesday

You still have time to enter our challenge at Teddy Bo using a punch and as usual you can get the cute image I've used at TeddyBo.com.
I've used papers from Dovecraft Back to Basics II with my vintage lace corner punch on the green bit. Ribbon was originally a hair ribbon for DD but she's "far too old" for them now at 11 lol! I've used glamour dust on Bea's dress wings and wellies (I finally gave in and bought some)
Hopefully she remembered to take this with her when she went to her dad's for a week yesterday otherwise I'll be in the dog house. My ex and I get on better than we did when we were married which the current Mr Padster and the current Mrs Padster's ex just can't get their heads around - keeps em on their toes :c)

Oscar with a Flower

I printed this one bigger than I meant to  lol! Once again a Digistamp boutique image I printed off a few so expect to see a couple more in the next few days :c)

Oscar splashes in Puddles

I bought these gorgeous bears from The Digistamp boutique when they were the offer of the month but hadn't used any.
Here is Oscar with his umbrella surrounded by offcuts from my Wild Rose Studio papers and wearing very cool red & blue spotty wellies.

Song titles at I Did it Creations

Lots of brains were racked when I was deciding what I was going to do for my card this week at I Did it Creations. I'm always singing but nothing that I could make a card from. Then I dropped my box of dies on the floor and these star ones fell out so there was my inspiration - Stars by Simply Red or suppose it could be Catch a Falling star.

I've used papers by JLJ designs called Pretty tough and just die cut lots of stars in 3 different sizes using a set of cuttlebug dies, thrown them on the card and stuck them down. I really struggled not to arrange them all nicely and evenly

Lickle Ted Again

In a bid to keep my hands busy and out of the fridge and the cig packet I've been stitching like it's going out of fashion lol!

Another Lickle Ted - this one was from World of Cross Stitching so not sure what it's called. DD has snaffled this one and the next one which is just blank scary white aida at the mo eeeewwwwwwww LOL!

Hint of Red

Less is More has a theme of a hint of red this week and determined to manage 2 weeks in a row thought I was going to have to go all grown up until this new image was released by Teddy Bo on Tuesday.

I absolutely love him and can see him in all different colours and patterns and stuffs.

Challenges:
C.R.A.F.T. - animals / pets
Paperplay - critters galore
Creative Cottage - blank space
Stampin Vacation - animal that has arms

Punch Teddy Bo!

I think I might have taken the theme at Teddy Bo a bit too literally this week but my card is for a work colleague's birthday who likes boxing. I've used this brilliant Bo Boxing image he does actually have feet but I printed him off too big to fit and then my red promarker decided to hate me - is it just me or are the red ones little bleeders lol! Hey ho no harm done!
So get out your punches and join us at Teddy Bo. I've used my retro flower ones and layered them with some pearls.

You really really must check out the store today - there are loads of new images including this one which has to be my favourite. How cute is that???????
 Challenges:
Allsorts - Blooming Blossoms
Make it colourful - bright colours
Digis with attitude - anything goes
Phindy's place - make us smile
Stamp something - digi
CCEE - no buttons, bows, buckles, brads
Digi Doodle Shop - happy birthday

Something 3D at OSAAT

It's something 3D this week at OSAAT. I finally got up the courage to have a play with the Cinch that hubby bought me for Xmas and made a notebook. Am just about getting the hang of it - thank goodness for YouTube lol!
I have absolutely no idea why I wanted a pink tiger but I did - it's a Barbara Jensen design called Little Tiggy Tiger and I've digitally pieced her with Toucan Scraps pink n wild papers using Jennie's fab gimp tutorial that she did for IDIC.

Sadly this will be my last OSAAT project for a while as hubby is now diabetic and checking food labels and adopting a healthy lifestyle is chewing into my crafting time as is stinky work lol! Give it a few weeks to settle down and I'll be back with a vengeance :c)

Anything Goes at IDIC

We are sponsored by Glitterbabe over at I Did It Creations this week and the theme is anything goes so I've made something other than a card for a change. I got out the cinch that hubby bought me for Xmas to punch the holes but couldn't figure out how to bind it properly so I took it back out and tied it with some gingham ribbon.
We have a reasonable stock of these free sewing kits that mysteriously fall into hubby's bag when he is away so made a holder for them - would work just as well with a gift card.
I used my stitching embossing folder and the papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics.
