Lickle bit shy

This is why there hasn't been any cards this weekend. I decided to get this lickle cutie finished :c)
DD has claimed him already as the bunny looks just like her one from when she was small. He just needs a mount and a frame now.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Last night I sat here and knew there was something I should have done but it took me being on the motorway to work to remember what it was. I was in Monday mode but realised it was Tuesday. Anyhoo I've used Teddy Bea Tabs on my card for our challenge which is shaped cards - so no boring squares or rectangles allowed.

And although we have expanded our furry team a bit and Bev and Tab are now joining us permanently we still need some fellow fur addicts and are having a DT call so hop over to the shop to invest some pennies in the new numbers series that is released next week and not only could you win this weeks prize from Crafts 4 you you might be able to join the fun and friendly team.
Here's my (almost) circular card - the background is a Hope Jacare Doodle that I printed direct onto the backing paper and partially coloured with promarkers.

I would like to enter her into:
Digital Tuesday - animal friends
Party time tuesday - anything goes
Pollycraft - teddy bears
Paperplaytime - digi plus love theme
2 sisters - anything goes

A few hours left!

Realised I made this ages ago but didn't post it - Doh! Just a quick reminder that you only have a few hours to enter our current challenge at Teddy Bo which is Bo on his own.
I've used Teddy Bea 060 - Victorian Bathing Bea here and some papermania papers with a bit of string along the bottom

PS if you love the bears as much as we do - check out the new challenge on Tuesday as we are having a DT call to expand our merry band of furry fanatics :c)

This is me!

Well 30 years ago maybe lol! I don't know how Whiif of Joy knocked all those years off!!!
Papers are a mix of Dovecraft and First Edition - the kraft looking card is actually coloured with caramel promarker.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

We have some fantastic new images for you at Teddy Bo this week Gayle sure knows how to part people from their pennies :c) I've used one of the very early ones this week and am still managing to use "proper" stamps on my card as well the background is from Crafty Individuals which was heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.
I've kept my card fairly simple (just like me lol!) and just layered the stamped background onto turquoisey card to match the bears clothing.

Don't forget you still have a few days to enter the current Bo on his own challenge.
Challenges:
Stampin for the weekend - Blue Buttons & Bling
Stamptacular - Bear necessities
Creative cowgirls - get your groove on
Pile it on - beary best friend

Friday's child didn't get posted!

This was Friday's inky image but in all the excitement of hubby getting back early as he's working in Scotland at the moment it slipped my mind. Shock horror this is the 2nd outing for Simply Sassy Fairy Tale although the First Edition Daydream papers mysteriously arrived on Tuesday from Little Claire- how odd is that lol!
The layout is this week's sketch from Moving Along With the Times.

Challenges:
Crafty Emma - embellish it
Little Claire - sparkle
Ellephantastic - birthday party
Craft us crazy - something new

Anything Goes at I Did It Creations

Nice easy challenge for you at I Did it Creations this week of anything goes so no excuse not to join in really lol!
We are sponsored by Toucan Scraps and we have all been lucky enough to be able to use some of her lace papers. I've used 3 on my card the leaves were stamped onto a green offcut in my scraps box.
The flowers and leaves are from a Hero Arts cling set of stamps called Dotted Flowers. As I printed my digi paper onto light card I could stamp and heat emboss them without causing a fire ;c)

I just had to have this stamp when I saw her so why have I only just used her?????? Answers on an ATC LOL!

I've used the sketch from Cards & Things for this one and dug out my Martha Stewart Lattice punch. The paper is Henbury Lane.

Bear Hug

I've decided that far too many of my rubber stamps are neglected so am only going to use "real" stamps in my projects this week - wonder how long that will last lol!
I know this isn't a new release stamp but I only bought it last week as I'd recycled some crafting cash via good old eBay :c) I love these gorgeous girls and they're on offer at Funky Kits at the mo.
I've even managed to enter the Sugar Bowl challenge this time too using the sketch as I can't really do the theme lol!
I've made my own backing paper using distress ink and a Penny Black paw print stamp. The sentiment is from Elzybells. I've had both these stamps since last year and not used either of them - oopps!

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Have you been shopping yet this morning? If not why not coz you really need a new Bo for our challenge this week which is Bo on his own - Bea is having a sulk and throwing herself on the floor kicking her paws but she'll get her chance :c)
I've used Braveheart Bo here although I'm not sure how brave he would actually be lol! The card is for my Father in Law for Father's day - I hope he doesn't mind but the tartan backing paper is Mackenzie rather than Morrison but it's very similar (and the tartan we had at our wedding).
The layout here is from the Willow Sketchie challenge

Challenges:
Cards For Men - for someone special
Stamps R Us - use something digi

Football cards

No - not cards with footballs on but cards made while OH was shouting at the TV this afternoon lol!
Don't get me wrong I enjoy football but when Rangers are that close to winning the SPL it's safer to spectate from a distance in our house.
I've had the bits for this card sitting about for ages and finally put it together this afternoon - The image was a freebie from DigiStamps4Joy but it's been sat there so long I'm not sure. The blue swirly paper was designed by Clairebear. As I've used one of their stamps I would like to enter it into their celebrations challenge as well as Craft Your Days Away - white plus 1 although I have given her brown shoes and hair so she might not qualify :c)

I also made this Libby card to enter into this month's Digistamp Boutique challenge as well as the MSE one which is red white and blue with a circle

Lace & Ribbons at I Did it Creations

We are sponsored by the wonderful Stitchy this week at I Did it Creations for our theme of Ribbons and Lace.
I was desperate to use this image called Little Friends and then had a minor fit as I couldn't figure out how to get ribbon on it.
The doily is just a regular one from the cake section, the paper is Papermania Retro Floral and the ribbons are from Meiflower.
Please nip on over to the challenge blog and see what the other girls have created I'm sure with a theme like this they'll be far more girly than mine :c)

Challenges:
Totally Gorjuss - not square (this is DL)
Crafty Creations - anything goes
Creative Craft World - anything but square
Penny's - anything goes
AI Factory - nature walk

Happy Birthday Colette

One of our angels Colette has a big birthday today so Bo is giving her a big wave from his bright cherry covered background. And she has some fantastic candy up for grabs to celebrate including a shopping bag that I just have to win.
For my card I was very brave and cut into some of my MME fine and dandy papers and then had to go have a lie down to recover. The border is a Nellie border die that I now love as Antonia gave me a tip about sticking dies down so they don't wiggle about.
Before I forget - if you want to get your cute little furry paws on this Bo you'll have to wait until hes released on Tuesday with 2 more Bo tabs which will be perfect for our new challenge next week hint! hint!
and you have until midnight to enter the current easel challenge

Challenges:
Crafty Calendar - teddy bears
Crafty Sentiments - buttons
Paperplay - celebrating summer
Allsorts - teddy bear
Divas by Design - anything goes
Crafty Anns - Happy Birthday
Mawtt - 2 Bs - bear, buttons, blue

Boo Bear's ATCs

I'm sooooo glad that blogger is better but even gladder that I hadn't got anything saved in draft like I usually have - I've been too busy lazy this week.

I haven't made any ATC's for ages but small child wanted a couple with her nickname on so here they are
I've used free images for both one from Crafty Sentiments and the other from The Stampfairy

Teddy Bo Tuesday - Just lol!

All the best laid plans and all that. We have some fabulous new images this week including several fairy tales. I decided to create one of my own....................
Wouldn't happen in my house lol! Although saying that hubby does most of the cooking (for fear of being poisoned) and I won't let him hang washing up as he pegs things however they come out of the basket and traps them on the line.
I've used a recent release here called Wishy Washy Day wasn't he in Aladdin? Papers are by Blonde Moments, sentiment from Create with TLC and paw print is a Sizzix die I recently bought from The Craft Fairy.

Don't forget that you still have time to enter our current Easel Card challenge

Sunday 8 May 2011

Monochrome

We're seeing all in one colour at I Did It Creations this week with a theme of monochrome and being sponsored by Beary Dust. I've used her gorgeous image called Naptime on my card that you can buy at Stitchy Bear Stamps. I printed it out on white card but coloured it with an ivory promarker to match my creamy colour theme.
Lots of layers and a lot of Zig Zag Martha Stewart punching to finish it off with buttons and a flower from my stash

Friday 6 May 2011

Say Hi to Elefunt

This is Bea's new friend who is being called Elefunt for now - any suggestions for a name please nip over to the Teddy Bo blog and leave a comment so hopefully Bo & Bea can have some more friends (with hats of course!!)
I didn't do so well with the biscuits today but realised when I sat at work that having fought tall child for the last bowl of Rice Krispies (other breakfast cereals are available lol!) this morning that I forgot to eat them so was very hungry by the time I came in from work and a packet was open which is never a good idea coz they shout through the little gap.............................

Teddy Bo in Purple

Yet another cute Teddy Bo bear - do you see an obsessions here lol! The strips are made with odd bits that I found in my scrap box. The stars are back to basics II.

Thursday 5 May 2011

Bea in Dusky Pink

Yet another one of this week's Teddy Bo & Co images. As I'm got over the smoking addiction (8 weeks and counting) I'm now battling the biscuit cupboard as I have tummy that Bo and Bea would be proud of :c). So to keep my nose out of the cupboard and my fingers busy I've been making.

This one is really "me" even if it is mostly pink lol! So I'd like to enter it into the Paperplay show us your style challenge as well as Fab and Funky as I've used a Sizzix build a bear embossing folder rather than any DP

Mechanic Bo

Another card in a hurry for BIL birthday - this is another Teddy Bo released this week.
I'd like to enter him into the Pixie Cottage one for the boys challenge
