Another challenge at Papercreator

I've been even more rubbish than usual at blogging later I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep all the balls in the air at once and it's so much easier with Facebook and Twitter coz I can do that straight from my phone.

Anyhow enough whining I'm hoping the sky looks like as I'm doing my very first outdoor market stall at Driffield and have now started selling ribbon by the metre to get people to stand and rummage at my stall.

The challenge at Papercreator today is flowers and bows on my card I've used:
Image: A penny for your thoughts
Backing Paper: Pink Petticoat
Grass: Card embossed with Cuttlebug daisy embossing folder
Flowers: Papermania
Bows: Meiflower
Sentiment: Bo Bunny Birthday CD

Friday again

Sorry I've been so quiet lately I've been stacked out with Christmas orders for Little Gingham Bear and have lots of fairs booked in between now and Christmas.

This is my granddaughter's birthday card - can't believe where the last 12 months have gone.

Gone Fishing

Tall child needed a last minute birthday card for one of her friends - eternally organised - NOT!
What do you want on it I asked - fishing she said - 10 minutes later finished card as the Papercreator Gone Fishin Topper set was perfect for the job. The only thing I added was the embossed card and the sentiment.

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

This was a scary card as it was my first ever 8x8 thank goodness for digital kits coz I could print off  the 8x8 decoupage layers that are already included in the Christmas Tree Quick Card Kit from Papercreator.

I finally caved and bought some more Christmas sentiments this year and this Believe one is part of a set by Kaisercraft. I even dug out some My Minds Eye papers for the background and the bunting - amazing what you find when you buy some new storage and have a sort out

Happy Birthday Father-In-Law

It's my lovely father-in-laws birthday today and what else do you put on someone from Lewis' card other than the Callanish Standing Stones?
And a bit of embossing and a sentiment and voila!

Teddy Bo Father's Day

 Image: TEDDYBOBEA_126
Paper: My Minds Eye
Sentiment: Woodware and Clevercut Stamps

It's Father's Day in the UK on Sunday and I had a commission for 2 cards for her daughter's godfathers for the day. They are both the same layout but the different paper seems to make a big difference to how they look

Teddy Bea Communion card

I'd never made a Communion card before so was excited to receive a request for a personalised one.
The lady who commissioned it loved it - fortunately

Bear and Owls - for a couple of cuties

This is the Just Because 6x6 card kit although I have added a bit of embossed kraft card, matted the layers onto mirror cards and cut a out a couple of flowers rather than decoupaging him. The sentiment is a Wellington bear one
If you don't want a full card kit there are also just toppers like these Owl ones that also includes a backing paper although mine is a First Edition Daydream one cut in an arched window using my Silhouette. The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley one.
As I had a couple of images spare I used them to put on the front of a couple of notepads that I keep handy.

I've been a rubbish blogger so far this month and I have a lot of birthdays so lots of cards have left Padster towers - anyhoo here they all are.

And I have a new stamp for the back of my cards from Nicky at Stamping All Day there's a huge choice of verses and they're really reasonable - I ordered this one and had it in a couple of days.

It's Friday again and we're now near to the end of the first week of the school holidays here in the UK - I'm not quite bankrupt yet but ask me again next week.

We have new images as well as a new challenge and a SALE so nip over to the challenge blog to check it out. I've used a really really old image today but with 3 little piggies you get 3 tags you can separate and then enlarge one to make a matching card.

Tall Child has a birthday

Tall child was 13 yesterday - she picked out hot pink and cyan promarkers but said the image was up to me.
This one by Sassy Cheryl so reminds me of her when she was smaller although she still has the rabbit.

Teddy Bo almost Saturday

Image: TEDDYBEA_098
Card Base: Silhouette Cameo

I had this week planned out almost to the hour but it all went wrong yesterday when I was running round clearing up after you lot and had to take tall child to the Orthodontist.
I was late picking her up then he told her she would be having a fixed brace next visit and would possibly have to have teeth removed to get them all in line - queue major wobbly!!!!

Stupidly I suggested we went shopping on the way back to spend her birthday money (which she hasn't had yet) - 2 hours later a fair bit stood outside the changing rooms in Primark.
Nipped into Morrisons on the way home for 4 packets of Scotch Pies and 2 Haggis and finally got home at half 5 then realised I'd done no ironing and no-one had any shirts.

I was going to get my card done first thing this morning but woke up feeling like Mrs Rank  from Rank Street in Rank Town so finally got it done this afternoon.
Anyhoo you still have a few days to enter our anything goes challenge at Teddy Bo before we have a new bumper release of bears on Tuesday and a brand new bouncy challenge.

I would like to enter Ready Teddy Go - mum's the word

Bo with no Legs

Where do you find Bo with no legs??????
Exactly where you left him ROFL
I hadn't cropped any images for a while and decided this one was perfect although there was a dodgy moment with his arm when it refused to poke out of the Nestie properly.

Have you joined our latest Anything Goes challenge over at the Teddy Bo Challenge Blog?

20 minuters

2 cards made in 20 minutes - don't you just love Dustin Pike's freebie coloured images?
These were just perfect for 12 year old boys.

This one took a little longer but not much. The image was from Pollycraft and I know it has been sitting in my printed out digi folder for at least 9 months

Circles for Fussy and Fancy Friday

We have a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy today and the theme is circles, I hope spots count! I have used a couple of circle die cuts, some buttons and a circular sentiment from Cuddly Buddly just in case.

The image is called Smile and is no longer available. It was one of Belles and Whistles that I had missed buying but I was lucky enough to win her and lots of other goodies from my teamie Vicki just after Christmas.

This one is digistamp boutique with a scrap of MME paper and card blank made myself from hammer card - you'll see a lot more of these this year as I have found a load of envelopes
Cheats card for step dad made from Michael Miller Die cut sheet and some paper that came out of the ark I think.

New Whimsy Challenge

We have a new challenge over at Whimsy Inspires starting today.

This month's theme is Fancy Edges so I've used my Nellie Snellen dies to make the edge of my card blank and the fancy circle in the middle of the doily.

The image I've used is a new digi one by Lia Stampz called Unicorn and the sentiment is from the Ticket Sentiments rubber set.
