Late again for Papercreator

I was full of good intentions to be on time this month unfortunately my laptop decided to die again so I couldn't get anything uploaded and hubby wasn't in a fit state to fix it! - anyway enough of my bleating.

It's a new challenge over at Papercreator at the moment with a theme of die cuts and punches. I've used the kick it kit for my card what I really like is you don't have to use the whole kit for each card so for this one I just used one layer from the decoupage sheet (rest to be used on card for next week - squeak!) which I cut out with my largest circle nestie (wobbly circle cutting) the stars are a Sizzix framelits die and the border is Nellie Snellen I think. Circle card base cut with Silhouette cameo (still bestest birthday present ever!)

A little bit of news

 Today would normally be my day for Whimsy Inspiration but due to my micro craft business taking up more of my time I'm just not able to make a card a week and comment on challenge entries so have sadly made the decision to resign.

I've also been using  ready coloured images and my Silhouette machine a load more recently so I was over the moon when Debbie asked me if I would like to join the Papercreator Design Team especially as she is a licensed Sassy Cheryl reseller so I no longer have to struggle to her digis justice.

I've used Noah All Ears Kit to make my card and added some stars cut with a Sizzix Framelits die and Letters from a Whimsy Stamp set. I've printed Noah himself onto photo paper which gives him a tiny bit of shine

New Whimsy Challenge - Anything Goes

We have a new challenge starting today at Whimsy Inspires and it's a nice easy theme of anything goes. I've tried something different here today and printed my paper directly onto my card then cut it out to form the card base on my Silhouette. Fortunately my printer and I were friends when I made this one.

I've used one of this month's new releases called Gardening by Lia Stampz and added a stamped sentiment that I've had for absolutely ages. The button is a Sizzix Die cut.

I don't normally combine challenges but if I'm honest I'm fed up with making Christmas cards so decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone as we have a new challenge today at Fussy and Fancy Friday - We love Christmas and it's also team A's turn for Fairytale Friday at the Teddy Bo Challenge

There's a new challenge over at Fussy & Fancy Friday today and this one was a bit of a struggle for me as theme is FLOWERS and pearls. I don't own any of those posh flowers so out came my absolute favourite EK success flower punches so Bea had a carpet to stand on.

Melinda Blowing Hearts

Seem to be going through a pink and girly phase at the moment **shudders** am sure I'll soon grow out of it. I don't use these Melinda's anywhere near often enough so will maybe dig another one out this side of Christmas.

I would like to enter Whimsy's all things sparkly as there are loads of gems on this one.

I designed and cut the kickstand base on my Cameo then added a High Hopes cat stamps and some Sizzix numbers. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley

Happy Anniversary

It's our wedding anniversary today - 4 whole years!!!! I hadn't used this stamp since I won the Lili of the Valley weekly voucher and hubby like's purple so tah dah!

We're still celebrating over at Teddy Bo this week - not sure exactly what I'm celebrating here but you never need an excuse for a hug. Bo is in touch with his feminine side today as I love dusky pink and brown together and he was too busy worrying about getting his legs back to notice.

Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!

Although there's no lions or for once bears lol!

D'Arcy Day

 I'm late, it's the wrong colours and I've used an old image but in my defence my printer is out of ink and postie didn't bring it today so I had to use one I prepared earlier but it's still D'Arcy Day just and we're in the middle of our pink or blue plus cream challenge.

The sentiment stamp is new - its a Whimsy one ordered on 19th from USA and arrived yesterday - I haven't quite got the hang of my alignment tool yet hence the strategically placed star :c)

 I always ask Abby what she wants on her cards as that's part of the fun of it and it's usually a challenge. She was worse this year (she's now 12) I blame High School lol!

Me: All white? Extracting eyebrows from hair

Ab: Ummm a bit of pink then but not that girly one.
