Boing!!!

We don't really do Easter in our house as Abby doesn't really eat much chocolate and I really shouldn't!
One year she got 14 eggs even though she didn't eat chocolate at all then - I was fed up with them by June LOL!

This cute image was a freebie from somewhere but I'm sorry I can't remember where.
Paper is K&Co and sentiments are both Hero Arts.
Paper lunch bag is from Home Bargains.
Lindt Choccy bunnies 4 for £1 from Tesco (am hoping she takes pity on me and donates them to a hungry cause lol!)

Challenges:

Waves to my new follower - welcome to the mad house
Hugs

Sewing again

Disney Princess pencil cases and a cute boxey make up bag - can you tell I bought some zips :c)
Winnie the Pooh Fabric is on it's way but I might not be able to part with them lol
All for sale please email me if interested.

Larger purse - it also has a pocket on the back - the pocket on the front will fit a debit/credit card.
I tried a phone pouch for my Blackberry last night but measure twice cut once didn't work LOL!
Will have another go :c)

Lovely in lilac

Ickle bag in lilac floral fabric, it even has 2 pockets inside and this one has a velcro fastening.
The purse matches and has a snap fastener to close it
There is a little 2 inch deep pocket that my daughter says would hold her emergency bus money
These are both for sale - contact me via the email on my profile if you're interested - orders are of course very welcome and I can make other colours.
There are other styles in the pipeline including a purse with credit card slots inside.

Think Pink with Rabbits

What a great title for a challenge! It's the current one over at The Cutie Pie Challenge so that's what I've done even if it is a really small rabbit and the picture is a bit pants so the glitter doesn't show.
The layout is from the Critter Sketch challenge although I've rotated it by 90 degrees.

Ellie Stamp - Stamposaurus (Huge thank you to the person who sold this set on eBay recently)
Paper: Wild Rose Studio
Sentiment: Craftwork Cards

Card holder

While I had my sewing machine out I thought I'd make myself a holder for our library cards.

Unfortunately it also fits bus passes and dinner cards so I now need to make another one.
Would also be good for gift cards.
Watch this space :c)

Girly Pocket

Having a tall child at that hormonal stage means she has to carry girly supplies round and was moaning about how to hide them so mum to the rescue.

I have loads of fabric stashed away so may make a few more of these as they don't take that long. It would have been even quicker if I'd not picked a one way fabric lol!

Happy Mother's Day

It's Mother's day here today and I'm wondering how little I can away with doing :c)
This stitching was originally supposed to be for my mother-in-law but once I'd started it I realised it wouldn't match her room and I really really liked it.

This will be made into a cushion - it was actually 1/4 of a whole cushion design from World of Cross Stitching but I've decided to stitch it as 4 separate ones

New Home

Having mentioned our move about 6 million times I found this image mysteriously printed out on my desk so made it into a card. Looking at it now it could really do with some clouds but I'm not allowed to buy anything that isn't essential or for eating.

I would like to enter the CRAFT New home challenge
Saturday hugs!

Candy winner

I couldn't get Pansy (yes that is her name) to pick the winner as she was busy getting used to her new home!
I used random org and that gave me:

Flyin Fresian!

Thanks ever so much for entering and for all the wonderful comments that you leave on my blog - I really will make more effort to get round and see more of you once we move and get settled.
 Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

Don't Forget

Two things:
  1. You have until midnight UK time to enter my candy - just click on the cat to the left. She's sat here cuddled up under the fan on my laptop as I'm typing this and has enjoyed seeing herself on my travels around blogland
  2. It's mother's day here on Sunday! I duly posted my parcel to my mother yesterday and got a proof of posting just in case. I hope it arrives on Saturday otherwise I'll be in trouble for sending it too early - I have had that complaint more than once - grrrrrrr
This cushion is for my mother-in-law and was sent hopping off on Tuesday after I finished it in a hurry. Hubby wasn't that impressed as he didn't understand what she would "do" with it. He got the look boys don't seem to understand pretty stuff!!! He was a little happier when I explained that it was made from things that were already in the house and was being posted out so wouldn't need moving.

I would like to share it with Sassy Cheryl for show me Thursday.

Phew it's Friday!

Fussy and Fancy DT Call

Fussy and Fancy Friday are having a DT call and all you have to do is make a post of your 3 favourite projects.
Easy I thought - then I looked in my pictures folder and ended up changing my mind over and over again.

This one was easy to choose:
Blue, buttons, gingham and even a little bear lurking in the corner.

Number 2 a little harder:
Mackintosh roses, sewing elements and a lovely shade of pinky lilac.

I have changed my mind so often about this one I ended up doing a lucky dip. I wanted to show ribbon and lace (only something I've used in the last few weeks) or a bear but it had to be a rubber stamp as the other 2 cards use digital images.

I finally decided on this card that I made for the birth of our grandson as I love embossing too.

Phew that was so difficult - would rather choose a new house lol!
Maybe I haven't chosen what you would think are my best cards but you can always have a wander round and see what you can find.
I'd love to hear what your favourites are.

Hugs
Debbie xx

D'Arcy Day - Mid Challenge

Now much as I hate to use the "O" word I have a sneaky suspicion that I may have a wee bit of packing to do in the next few weeks so made this last week while I had some time :c)
I also seem to be running backwards and forwards to school to pick up tall child who is in the school netball team - she sure doesn't get that from me!
Don't let anyone tell you I don't use my distress inks - they make a great card stand lol!

Paper: Memory Box Gossamer
Punch: MS Beaded Arcs
Pearls: Meiflower
Stickles Ribbons and Lace from Stash
Chocolate Box Bow Tutorial - Bev Rochester (I can now tie proper ones).
