Eeyore Cushion

Last year I stitched my friend a Winnie the Pooh cushion for her birthday so when I asked her what she wanted for Christmas this was the request

Wonder if it will be Tigger or Piglet next year????

Bags, Bags, Bags

One of the benefits of being gainfully unemployed is having a little more time on my hands for making things.
One of the things I had missed living here was having no room for my sewing machine but as the 3rd bedroom has been converted into my craft space I've been able to get it out.

This may be an advance warning of lots of fabric projects in the new year

Sending You..............

Not particularly xmasy but the papers are Milton and Co Christmas ones. And I finally managed to get my crop-o-dile to set a snap without squishing it - bonus

Think the green might be a bit loud but hey ho or should that be Ho! Ho! Ho! lol!

Teddy Bo Tuesday

No bears for me today - this is what happens when Mama bear draws a new person. She's not on sale until January so you'll have to wait mwah hahahahaha!!!!
I've used FAIRYD_TB_GIRL_02 and coloured her with a combination of Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
The papers are Wonderland Stamps layered onto distressed Core'dinations. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp.

There are of course a few new bears this week although we're all winding down for the holidays here at the towers
I hope you're all prepared now although there are still a few days to go - I'm hoping that my cross stitch magazine is going to appear out of the Royal Mail black hole as I'm not planning on moving far from the sofa :c)

A pair of Bears

I printed these off ages ago but didn't get round to doing anything with them as I get bogged down in Xmas cards. The image is TEDDYBO_032 Baby Bo.
Bo is pretending to be a girl here but I'm sure he doesn't mind :c)
The stamp is my Imagine That from the Write Big #2 set, the bow is from Meiflower and other items are from stash.

Fairytale Friday

Sorry this is picture heavy today but I wanted to show all the pieces of the card
I've had to use pink today as Rose is my birthstone - yuk!
As my main image I've used Short Prom by Fairydoodler coloured with a combination of Promarkers and flexmarkers.
The Mackintosh roses are part of a stamp set by Tanda Stamps. The labels are part of a set of 7 from Stitched up!
I've layered up the cotton reels and some of the flowers on double layers of foam pads. The fabric and the cotton reels are also FairyD but I can't see them in the store at the moment. The beautiful backing paper is one of the designs in the Teddy Bo paper pack.
Finally a full shot of the card for the current birthstone challenge and a little ditty:
I would like to sing you all a Christmas song on behalf of the design team to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We wish you a fairy fish mash
We wish you a scary kiss rash
We wish you a hairy big ass
Or a flabby, huge rear!!!

Teddy Bo Tuesday

We have a new challenge over at Teddy Bo today - use the colours of your birthstone - fortunately this isn't my team's challenge as someone has given me a pink birthstone!!!!!!!
I'm moving my birthday forward a month to Sapphire lol!
Once again we have some lovely new releases for you in the store especially for those last minute Christmas cards - don't forget your last posting dates.

Nearly Done

I had to unstick the envelope to take pictures of this one - how rubbish am I??? Apologies for the fuzzies but OH was waiting to run off for the week. Thinking about it I'm not sure I actually go to write on it either lol!
I've held the ironworks die cut on with 3 brads that you can't really see but I hope Incy Wincy will believe me :c)

Busy Busy Busy

Tall child has been making these for her friends and I've been making the mobile charms for mine - the fairies were a little bigger than expected but look lovely.

And a couple of bookmarks

2 more xmas cards

I do love a freebie - the card blanks were from one of the Cross Stitching Mags and the cute polar bear stamps were free with Cardmaking and Papercrafting. I did have to provide my own glamour dust lol!

Fairytale Friday

I've really been struggling for ideas this week but think mojos must be a like Haggis and respond to singing. Abby came in turned the tv to the Disney Channel and mojo was back and running upstairs before you could say Hannah Montana LOL!

This is TEDDYBO_155 coloured with Promakers although I have no idea why I used red as I'm not sure it really matches the My Mind's Eye Bloom and Grow papers. I had to outline the ribbon in silver as I suffered from bleeding reds yet again!!!
Our white Christmas challenge is still running for a few more days and I still haven't made all the cards I need although the "normal " ones are all ready to go when I can walk to the post office without being blown to the next county

Winter Birthday

When the Teddy Bo girls mentioned Inger Harding's stars I remembered I had downloaded this cute freebie image. I was going to use it for a Christmas card but needed a birthday card in a hurry. The picture isn't too good but the weather has been a bit dark here today :c)
These are my favourite papers ever and have managed just to use some offcuts here as I don't want to use them up (DCWV Linen Closet)

Challenges:

Guest Designer for Papercrafting Journey

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at Papercrafting Journey this week - well that's the theme of the challenge. I'm really pleased to be joining them as GDT especially as the Sponsor is the wonderful Meljens Designs

I've used gingerbread house and added a couple of clouds that were a previous freebie on her DT blog. The paper is from a huge Papermania pack that I seem to have had forever lol!
Please hop over to the Papercrafting Journey blog to see what the girls have created for you to drool over.

Hugs

Purrrthday

I really like this little cutie from the Stampfairy - I think he might have been a freebie a while back - talking of freebies you really need to join in with their bloghop as everyone who completes it gets a gorgeous Molly fairy image. I have mine printed out ready to play with so watch this space.

Bear Humbug

Let me introduce you to Hermann - he's new in the Fairydoodler store this week. To me he is the Eeyore of the bear world - can just imagine him with the same miserable gruff voice.

I've made him into a Christmas card with the free papers from Cardmaking and Papercrafting magazine and covered his dandelion with a star. I absolutely adore him and can't wait to see what else he gets up to.

It's a very odd day here as it's my first day of freedom. I left work at 11:30 yesterday ready for the great Northern move (date to be confirmed) although I don't really fancy the weather up there at the mo lol!

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Yesterday was my mum and step dad's Wedding Anniversary. I will admit to spotting the date at the last minute and had to post in a hurry.
I've used TEDDYBOBEA_080 which was already coloured and it matches the Papermania and First Edition papers beautifully. I'm not sure about the doodling but it was too late to redo it.

As usual there are some fabulous new images again this week including an incredibly mardy looking bear who I'll show you tomorrow :c)

Our current Teddy Bo challenge is White Christmas and this is neither but you still have several days left to enter

Lickle Ted

Hopefully by the time this posts I will be a bit more organised for "that" day which seems to have galloped up and taken me by surprise this year.
I'm almost certain that I still won't have written any cards or even made any more but I should at least know what else I need to buy and for whom (maybe)

This cute little guy was in a recent issue of Cross Stitch Crazy. He might be a cushion eventually!!!???!!!

Must get my @ss in gear

Can you hear that? should be the sound of cards being written and envelopes licked or not :c)
Love these cards - 20 for one of your English pounds from Lidl and they're not at all wobbly.

Tall child has gone to her friend's dad's birthday party and is sleeping over. Hubby is being part of the security at Ibrox for the Rangers Dunfermline game so I am a sad lady with only a cat to talk to - NOT!!!!

This is the card I made for Abby to take with her using scrabble type tiles from Fuzzimo, the paper is Teddy Bo & Co and buttons from stash. I've put a support on the bottom of the stepper bit of the card so it doesn't do bambi legs lol! Oddly enough he is going to be 40 and the tile values add up to that.................... weird!!!???!!!
