Togetherness

How cute is this basket of furries? It's called Togetherness and you can get it from here at Robyn's Fetish
I used a frame that was really the bit left over from cutting a nestie label and a sizzix snowflake die cut under the sentiment. It looked a bit bare (even for me lol) so I added some faux stitching

Happy Halloween

Scary Huh? I thought so LOL!
The biscuits were a kit from Home Bargains for 49p. The other two made them yesterday as I'm a won't cook don't cook and proud of it

Simply Charming at IDIC

We're simply charming this week (well every week really!) at IDIC this week. I've used this gorgeous fairy image by Card mad fairy and coloured her with promarkers and Sakura pens. I've kept it fairy simple and just added a border using the Sizzix plaid embossing folder and some primitive heart die cuts and a charm of course!

Sunday's stash

As promised a pic of my meagre stash from Stamp Magic at Doncaster on Sunday. Best bargain was definitely the craftwork cards sentiments at £1 a packet.
It also amazes me how the words "excuse me" have disappeared from regular use in the english language LOL!

Christmas Fairy

Stitchy is sponsoring Fussy & Fancy Friday this week with a theme of Winter Wonderland. I've used her gorgeous image Christmas Fairy which you can buy here
I've made an easel card using the largest big scallop circle nestie and cut circles from Craftwork Cards papers that I've had for years appropriately called Winter Wonderland. I added a bargain butterfly sentiment that I picked up at the weekend and a sprinkling of buttons, some stickles and some sakura glitter pens. Sorry for the flare on the photos but I made the base from pearlescent card and took them in a hurry as it then started raining :c(

Scary Valentine

It's anything goes with A Didge's Doodle at IDIC this week and I chose this lovely image called Batty. Have absolutely no idea why I had the idea of a valentine card I worry myself sometimes and must climb back into my box lol. The sentiment is random peeloffs and a Studio G stamp for the @. The text was going to say you drive me batty to start off with but couldn't fit it on :c).

Celebrate good times dum dum de dum

We're celebrating everything and anything at OSAAT this week so I've chosen Christmas in the hope of actually making all the cards I intend to this year. Yeah right the road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that LOL! This fabby row of snow persons (see I'm even being PC today) is called Snowmen by the lovely Debbie from The Crafty Pad - nip over here to buy
I even tried something new this week which you can see on the close up - I stamped a little snowflake with versamark round the edge of  the image and dug out my arch enemy glitter which once again went everywhere but luckily didn't make the tea taste funny but I could see the cat in the dark LOL! I've coloured with sakura pens and added some gems.

Inky fingered me!

This is Stitchy's image called letters home. I don't normally go for the shabby inky look but decided to give it a go as she is sponsoring the current challenge at Stampin with the Dragon which is to use an ink technique on your project. I've stamped a random background with a letter stamp that has been in my stash for ages and never used, dabbed the ink pad over most of the card and inked the edges. The layout is the current Just Inspirational sketch

Eh? What? Pardon?

How many of us have been driven up the wall by our children no listening to us? Unfortunately for some families it's not just a case of lack of concentration. My friend Trisha's grand-daughter recently had a cochlear implant and she is now raising funds to support The Ear Trust.
The wonderful Janette from Stampin Dragon has designed a wonderful snail Digi in everyday and xmas versions that you can buy from here to help raise some much needed funds.
