Steppin out in Pink & Brown

Stitchy is sponsoring Cupcake Crafts this week with the scrummy theme of Pink and Brown.
On my card I've used her image Steppin' Out and added a bit of bling and a very small unobtrusive bow lol! The backing paper also has glitter on but it doesn't show in the photo so well - it's DCWV Linen Closet.

I would also like to enter her into:

I've used Teddy with Stitching by JLJ Designs that you can buy at the store I printed them out and coloured them with Promarkers and added Sizzix letters (Baby says yeah) to make my daughters name to decorate a pin board from Poundworld. I Did it Creations ATC

This week at I Did It Creations our challenge is to make an ATC with an embellishment and we were all given these lovely Weathered papers by Toucan Scraps to work with. They're available from the store and while you're over there have a look at Angela's other collections.
I've cut my bear using Sizzlit die teddy with shirt and paper pieced his shirt. The butterfly is a Woodware Punch.

I love making ATC's they're great for using up odd scraps and bits and pieces. The only rule is that they should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches and must be traded and not sold.

Have a look over at the challenge to see what my team mates made from the same papers

He's wandering along to:
A spoonful of sugar - Anything goes
Crafty Emmas - Animal antics
Crafty Anns - ABAC
Papercutz - critters

Snowflake Bag

This is a bigger version that I made for an order although I'm not altogether happy with the proportions. It's been made to fit something the size of a mousemat???? No I don't have a clue either lol!
Snowflakes in September (OneStop) are made with a sizzlits die and the paper is by Blonde Moments. I added a bit of faux stitching round the top as it looked a bit bare (Crafty Catz

Little Padster Bags

My friend saw the handbag that I made a few weeks ago for OSAAT and asked me to make her a couple to put vouchers in for Xmas pressies. Having spent hours looking through my papers I finally decided on these ones or I would have made them last week.

I've altered the size this time so the body of the bag is made from a 9 x 12 inch rectangle so they end up about 6 inches tall by 5 wide by 2 deep and made the handles from 1/2 inch strips of card.

You are on the right Blog LOL!

This is not a mistake - yes that is a piccy with flowers and beads and buttons and a charm on - shock horror. I was bored this afternoon so made my self use loads of layers and stick lots of things on as a kind of torture LOL!

The layout hidden under there is from Quirky Crafts and I also blew off the dust (corrosive) and piled on the flowers (whoopsi daisy)

The image was sent to me by the lovely Toni who lives in walking distance of Funky Kits lucky lucky girl. The purpley spotty paper is one of Stitchy's P&B set and the rest is the English Paper Company.

The happy wording is a Hero Arts stamp and the birthday is one I had custom made a couple of years ago. The EK Success retro flower punches have also had another outing - don't tell me I don't use my stash LOL

Just a few notebooks

Every year the school Autumn Fayre takes me by surprise. This year I've decided to start early mainly as it's Abby's last year before she goes to high school so won't have to bother in future.
These notebooks are a real bargain at 18p each and will soon be joined by a Wilko's mini pen in a cello bag. I got a really funny look last time I went to Asda as I bought 6 wonder what I'll get when I go back to buy another 12 lol!
Photobucket

Happy Birthday Nanny

This has to be one of my all time favourite stamps (Belles & Whistles) and when I saw the sketch and theme over at The Pixie Cottage this week I had to use her to make my mother-in-laws birthday card (her boys call her Nanny 'coz when they were small that was her job). I've even used proper posh Prima flowers and my Henbury Lane papers so no expense spared here :c).

MAWTT - In stitches (drawn onto purple card with silver pen)

Blossoms, Bling & Butterflies at OSAAT

This week at OSAAT the theme is in my post heading and I'm too lazy to type it again. This is one of those cards where I took the first exit from my comfort zone turned left and just kept on going LOL! I never use glitter and found it by accident looking for the wooden flowers so the cat is sparkling away nicely bless her.

Anyhoo we are sponsored by the wonderful Sew Many Cards this week and this is one of their images that I've spotlighted (yet another technique I spotted in a blog hop and have no idea who to thank mainly 'coz I had no idea what colours to use on the giraffe.

Hop over to the challenge blog to have a look at what the other girls have created and maybe pic up a few new images in the shop and don't forget to join us next week for our special event in support of Autism Awareness we'll have a rainbow (hint at theme) of lovely prizes for some lucky winners :c)

I'd like to enter this into:
Daisy Doodles - Anything goes
