The Bag Lady Goes Girly!
I decided to try something a little different with this one and am quite pleased with the results. It still has the bangle handles but I covered them with the fluffy yarn and then attached them.
I like the shape but the colour's really not for me LOL!

Thank you!
I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the lovely comments you have all posted over the last month or so.
I'm definitely maybe thinking about making some more bags and selling them but don't have any idea where to start - I have loads of stuff to get rid of from the house so might do a "normal" car boot and then go back again with just crafty stuff rather than mix the two together. I'm not sure I fancy the eBay route as I'm not sure they would sell very well at a reasonable price. Maybe I'll try a couple and see how it goes.....................
Only problem is OH has this real problem with my bags for some reason he seems to think they're slightly mad - but he's a boy what would he know about bags LOL!

The Bag Lady II
Another BL creation!
I was going to list this one on eBay but then got a request from school for Easter raffle prizes so am going to stick a bag of mini eggs in it and put it in a cello bag - cheap but effective.
It's the same pattern as the others but looks much smaller as there is hardly any fur - I'm going to experiment with some slightly bigger ones next - when I can find the time.
I just love making OH roll his eyes with my latest experiments :cP

Easter Bunnies
I knitted these mini bunny snuggle blankets for the grandchildren of my 2 friends. I had already tried one out on DD although she's 9 - lol!
I was going to be really naughty and put white buttons in with them but found these board books instead :c)
The sizzix letters for the names are held together with eyelets - I'm trying to get as much value for money out of my crop a dile as possible - was having trouble holding them to punch but got my tweezers out eventually Doh!

Creative Card Crews Green Challenge
This is my green card for the first challenge. It's not normally a colour I use but BIL is an avid Celtic supporter which goes down well with his Rangers supporting brother NOT!!
Papers are Papermania secret garden and Papermania brads.
I stamped the Dimension Fourth racing car in black and embossed it.
Will get back to my comfort zone of pink and lilac for my next one - lol
MILs day card
Rainmac's gorgeous basic grey matchbook got me itching to have a go so I found some instructions on scrapbook crazy and got out my trusty x cut guillotine for all the bits.
4 hours later and this is what I created. I'm really pleased with it (slight understatement - lol). The darker card is actually aubergine and the paper is papermania antique cream.
My MIL is lovely after OH and I got married she told me I can call her mum which will be odd as OH and everyone else call her nanny as that's what she was when the boys were young.

A sludgy mood means............
a sludgy card lol!
This is a birthday card for my ex father-in-law. Am quite pleased with it although I really wasn't in the mood to make anything and I could have mounted the beach huts on a slightly smaller piece of card.
It'll do as I never see them now anyway and am sure ex's partner will have something to say about it. Feeling like a naughty stirring witch tonight.
Hopefully OH will find out about the job this evening so we can get ourselves sorted one way or the other.

Friday 13th birthday card
This is a card for my friend's little girl (well she's 8 on Friday).
Was a bit disappointed that more of the design doesn't poke out from the pocket but think it's ok.
DD thought I had drawn the animals but it's actually a rubber stamp. I used my crop o dile again so each card I've made since I bought it has only cost me £7.50 plus eyelets and other bits lol!
Fairytale castle
I just had to share these pics of the cake my friend made for her daughter's wedding on Saturday. the only bit's she didn't make were the top fruit tier and the fimo hedgehogs at the bottom.
It was as always scrummy - I only sampled the chocolate and carrot cake layers though but made sure I got edge bits as icing is my favourite

Happy Birthday DD!
Today is DD's birthday - I really don't know where the time has gone!
She wanted a tower of flapjacks instead of a normal cake - I was supposed to have the loan of a cake stand from a friend but she forgot it so had to use the left over bowls from the jelly instead.
Card was made using the free stickers from the new issue of the do crafts magazine and papermania sweet nothings papers.
Party bags are home bargains brown paper lunch bags with cut out sizzix flowers - that die was such a good investment at £2.50.
They are going to be decorating Asda smartprice t-shirts with fabric paints and then having pizza and chips - all in about £30 for everything including plates and cups so i don't have a huge pile of washing up - Bargain!
Bag Lady!
After my first attempt at a fluffy knitted bag for DD my virtual friend Rusty requested a couple so here they are.
I've tweaked the original design a little and especially love the blue one.
I took one into work last week and now have an order for a black one. I've found some gorgeous silvery bamboo style bangles for the handles as thought the brown ones would look odd.
