Teddy Bo Tuesday - All White Christmas

I've used white TEDDYBEA_003 and layered her onto embossed core'dinations and silver mirri card. I liked it so much I changed the embossing folders and made several more using the different coloured images and card to layer them onto
Our new challenge today is White Christmas - it took me a while to dream up the idea but it's amazing what appears in your head at 3 in the morning!!!!!

Fairytale Friday

I'm sooooo sorry I've been AWOL I've been cleaning!!!!  We've now had the estate agent round so I can finally have a rest and get out some of the things that I've hidden away - I'm soooo glad my car has a huge boot LOL! I was cleaning the front of my kitchen cupboards at 9pm Monday night - am so not well. Just need to keep everywhere neat and tidy until after the photos are taken.............

It's Fairytale Friday again over at Teddy Bo and at last I've managed to make something using TeddyBoBea_088 we love penguins in this house. The papers are Papermania from a few years back and the sentiment is from Imagine That. Pearls and doily from stash. I've used my new Martha Stewart beaded arcs border punch on the mirri card.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

Sadly no card from me today - they've had me locked in the cupboard under the sink and only let me out to clean - something to do with my constant singing..........................

Our challenge of Christmas with no red or green is still running over at the challenge blog

Tutorial for Teddy Bo Top Tips

This week over at Teddy Bo top tips we have a tutorial for something a little festive and the teacher this week is ME!!!???!!!
Yep that's right we're scraping the bottom of the barrel but at least I did my tutorial with pictures so you won't have to suffer my singing LOL!

This week we're making an advent calendar.
You will need:

A scorboard
2 sheets of A4 card
A tag punch or die or something similar
Bookring or ribbon, string, binding tool
Paper to decorate
Numbers of some description
Teddy Bo Image ( if you would like a free image just for joining in :c) )

Cut one of the A4 sheets to 11 inches in length and score at 2, 6 & 10 inches
Flip it over and score at 1 inch

Fold into a tent card but don't secure the bottom as it's easier to decorate if you can lay it flat.

Punch out 24 tags (you can use childrens flash cards, squares, circles or anything you like)
and add your numbers. I've used peel-offs but you could stamp them, die cut them or even write them.

You can either decorate your base now or leave it fairly plain as I have. I've used my crop a dile to punch a hole right through the tags and then through the base card having marked where I wanted the hole to sit. I even remembered to check my bookring would fit. It's not so crucial if you're using ribbon as you can adjust it.

Print your image off and colour and decorate as desired. I've used TeddyBea_161 Santa stop here please and coloured her with Promarkers and added the letters and snow with Sakura gel pens

Here's the assembled advent calendar. I've used part of the 2nd sheet of A4 card to matt Bea onto. Looking at it in the pictures it needs something extra near the numbers but Mr Mojo has done a runner so have walked away for now rather than spoil it - how many time have I done that and not been able to get the offending things off again.....................

PS This fits perfectly with our current challenge which is Christmas with no red or green

I have handed my notice in so I will finally be able to start my xmas shopping and catch up on my crafty makes especially now I have somewhere to get my sewing machine out Whoop Whoop!

A Little bit of Festive Stitching

I very rarely stitch anything for Christmas but spotted these in a chart booklet with one of my mags and used up an odd offcut of fabric and some odd threads I had in my box. When I can get to my sewing machine I'm going to make them into some sort of padded decoration type thingy - I know what I mean lol!

Boofle!

This cute little guys name makes me think of the Bernard Matthews adverts from when  I was a kid - apologies to anyone reading this from Norfolk but I did live most of my life in Suffolk so have a bit of an accent at times although the Essex one of my birth is still the strongest LOL!

This guy was a free chart with I think World of Cross Stitching a couple of months back and as I've been without a table I've dug out my needle in the evenings. He's cute for the C.R.A.F.T. challenge and stitched for Creative Inspirations and Anything Goes.

Papercrafting Journey Embossing

I was really excited to be asked to be a Guest Designer for this weeks challenge over at Papercrafting Journey. The theme is embossing and I've used heat embossing on my Milton image (doesn't show in the pic) and dry paw print embossing on the purple card (covered most of it up).
I've used First Edition Daydreamer papers for my background and the heart are by Art from the Heart. Milton and his friend were coloured with Promarkers (Apricot, Saffron & Vanilla, Caramel, Cocoa). The layout is the Sketch and Stash challenge.

I would also like to enter him into the MSE hugs challenge and C.R.A.F.T. which is cute

Leap Bunnies

Whoo hoo - I have my dining table back - hardly any time to make anything but it's a start. Hubby has also told me that as long as I keep it tidy I can move my stash back into the house!!!! No more trips in the dark to the garage with a torch. Tall child has also decided to stay in what was the spare bedroom so am going to take over her old room as a temporary craft room - only so we can keep the downstairs tidy for potential buyers of course.

For my card I've used one of the Lili of the Valley stamps I bought on the course at Leeds and First Edition Isabelle papers. The layout is the Sunday Sketch and Stamp sketch turned on it's side and I would also like to share it with Lili of the Valley sparkle challenge (the paper is glittery and I've used several gems) and Charisma (cute).

Teddy Bo Tuesday

I needed a wedding card and I'm still on restricted crafting hours so made a pastel one with TEDDYBOBEA_009 - Showering you with love.
The papers are Dovecraft Back to Basics, the sentiment is by Imagine that and the little hearts in the corner are supposed to be used as nail decorations.

Fruit Pastel Tuesday

This is TeddyBea _151 coloured with my favourite promakers in shades of pink. The paper is from the new First Edition Isabelle pad and I've layered it up with some sagey green bazzill. The punch is part of a punch around the page set called vintage floral.

Don't know what came over me here - nowt like my usual cards - hey ho blame it on the paint fumes and the pastel colours lol. So if you want to tone down your colour pallette please hunt out one of our cute bears and join our Pastel Challenge this week

And we have some new releases again this week - I  don't know where Mummy bear gets her ideas from plus as it's her birthday this week there is 25% off in the digi store so no need to break the bank :c)
