Snow Buddies

My Time to Craft this week's theme is snow buddies.

Here is my really cute snowman layered onto some Dovecraft Paper.

Happy Birthday

My football mad son will be 12 in a fortnight!
The challenge over at Charisma Cardz is getting sporty and C.R.A.F.T is no backing paper.

Decoupage Buddy Bear is from Pollycraft and I embossed the red card with my early birthday pressie aka Christmas Stars embossing folder :c)

Mine! Mine! Mine!

I've decided to keep this one :c)
The acrylic clipboard was £1 and the post its were £1 for 300 from Tesco. This is the last of my new bear stamps from Dimension Fourth and the paper is My Mind's Eye Signature Suite.

Gayle's Sketch

This week's challenge over at The Sugar Bowl is a sketch plus paper piecing so I used some co-ordinating papers on the bunnies' clothes and shoes.

I love these bunnies and they make a bit of a change from bears :c)

Swing Card Swap

This months challenge on Crafty Place was a swing card.
Didn't really enjoy making it as found it really difficult to decorate but was quite pleased with it in the end.
There is another bear on the other side of the swingy bit and the charm on the left is also a bear.

Circle and Purple!

The challenge at the Crafty Pad this week has to include at least one circle and the colour purple.

The bunny is from Bee Crafty

Black, White and any other Colour

The Pollycraft challenge this fortnight is black, white plus any other colour so I chose blue.
The 3 wise pandas is from Dimension Fourth and the lace must have been in my stash for about 25 years!

Bookmark challenge

This weeks challenge at Bee Crafty is bookmarks. DD picked these snuggly images from Digistamp boutique as she has claimed it for her school reading book.

Check out the blog there's a really great tutorial for a bookmark that fits on a corner

Buddy Bear Sails again!

Have really got my money's worth with this stamp! Sentiment is from Lili of the Valley the large set.

Harrogate Stash

Considering how much I spent I had a very small bag - lol!
You can't really see them in the pic but the Lili of the Valley large sentiment stamps are gorgeous.

Have some more bears and a rabbit though :c)

Wall calendar

Flourgirl had a fantastic idea to make a bigger hanging calendar so have nicked her idea as an xmas pressie for my aunt. Am going to make another one the same for another aunt and now DD wants a blue one!

Forgot to add the penholder before I stuck it all together so punched a hole added an eyelet and dangled it from some of that gold elastic string type stuff that I found :c)

First swing card

Had my first go at a swing card today. It's a new home card for my mum who is moving next Wednesday - thanks to Gemma for sparing my fingers and cutting me some blanks!

Image is a freebie from the wonderful Pollycraft although I had to trim it to fit.

Trusty swiss dots embossing folder was chalked in green at the sides.

I used the same image and layout on the reverse so as not to confuse myself lol!

One Card - 3 challenges

I managed to make this card for 3 challenges:
Cute Daisy May - Pink and any other colour (I chose lilac)
Charisma Cardz - Swirls, curls and an extra hearts
Papertake Weekly - Angels and Fairies

The Angel Image is from Cute Daisy May which is one of the ones I won last week from Charisma. The backing paper has swirls on and I embossed using the divine swirls cuttlebug folder. Sizzlits heart buttons with ribbon knotted in them. The Dufex sentiment doesn't show well but says Happy Birthday.

Now I've used this image I can see her looking cute on a Christmas card hmmmmmmm - one for another day I think

Tri-shutter card first attempt

I finally made friends with my craft knife today - it was fine my measuring was a little ropey so the card had to be encouraged to lay flat with a bone folder battering!

Should have gone upstairs to get proper 12x12 card but couldn't be bothered ;c)
Anyhoo this is my mum's card to go with the scrapbook, the hamper I did ages ago and a bag of charity shop books (she always has one of these so I'm not being abnormally squeaky lol!)
I have no idea where the card came from but it's double sided so stamped the sentiment on the reverse (Hero Arts set that I've had for yonks and never used Oops!)added a few bits and there it is!

Box for my mum's scrapbook

I made the box and covers for my mum's scrapbook this afternoon - based on the peek a boo box from craftwork cards but a little bigger.
I hung a happy birthday tag a flower charm and a made for you charm from the book ring but they don't show well in the photo.
I hope she likes it - it took me ages to actually cut up my Daisy Bucket Nantucket Island papers rather than sit admiring them - good excuse to order more!

Truly Scrumptious #15

This fortnight's challenge is Indian Summer plus a lovely sketch.
I used one of the downloads that I won this week from Cute Daisy May
the paper is a Kaisercraft design layered onto Core'dinations from the Nostalgia stack.
This is for my mother in law - but I'm struggling to part with it!

MSE Cards for the troops challenge

Marg has very kindly agreed to co-ordinate this challenge to send cards to our soldiers serving in Afghanistan. My friends son is currently serving out there as is my friends husband.
These are the first two - sorry the robin is a bit blurry :c)

Creative Card Crew #26 - Pink Black & White

I've been trying to make xmas cards so I don't get a huge loads to make at the last minute - I used today's freebie from Pollycraft for my entry and layered it onto Dovecraft monochromatic papers.
Not a traditional card by any means!

Pollycraft Furry Friends

The only problem I had with this challenge was which of my collection of bears to pick!
Finally decided on Buddy who was only delivered at lunchtime - he's in no danger of being neglected lol!
The calendar is made on a CD case so it stands up - was originally supposed to have the hinge on the top but the calendar tab wouldn't fit :c(

When I was bored

I was a bit bored this afternoon so decided to try some shading with my Whispers pens. Not bad for a first attempt but must try to stay in the lines next time :cP.

Stamps are Teddy Remembers by Woodware - soooooooooooo cute!

Mini Scrapbook for my mum
