It's collab week at OSAAT which means we all get to use the new stuff for April that you can get for free with a spendy of $10 (bargain!) I was given papers from JLJ Designs to play with this week. I've only used 3 out of the 8 in the set on my card here and had fun making the flowers although not so much fun getting them to stay put on the card :c)
I didn't use a snazzy die but followed the tutorial here from Laura which was written specially for me. Being metrically challenged I have an imperial score pal but had no probs making them.
Please hop over to the challenge blog to see what the others have been up to and to check out this week's prizes - oh and before I forget the theme this week is for mum :c)
Challenges:
2 Sisters - make your own embellies
Allsorts - special lady
Craft Your days Away - mum
Stampin for the Weekend - mothers day
Colour Create - pastels

Glitter and Gems at One Stitch at a Time
Ooohhhhhh shudder my cat so hates glitter and I'm not that keen meself but even though this easel card is pink and glittery and girly I really enjoyed making it. So for all you twinkly types our challenge at OSAAT this week is to use glitter and gems
I've used Wedding Cake by Hope Jacare this week and glittered and gemmed it to within an inch of its life with sakura pens, loose glitter, individual gems and the bane of my life - stickles lol! (think this is diamond) The pink colour scheme was also a bit of an accident :c)
The benefit of digis is you can print them as big or little as you like so have a small one here to support the easel which I squinted at to colour and glitter. The stamp is one of a set i had made to match when I was making my wedding invitations - sorry I can't remember who by or even the font!
Please hop over and show the girls some love and check out the fab prizes for this week at the challenge blog
Challenges:
Creative Inspirations - Easel cards
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Paper Pretties - ribbon
Fab n Funky - girly
Stampin vacation - glitter
Stampin B's - use bling
Wags & Whiskers - more than one fold
Charisma - Easel cards

It's charming over at OSAAT
You've to use a charm over at One Stitch at a Time this week and for some reason I went all odd and pink and shabby chic lol! This beautiful image is called Angie and is by Sylvie Stamps - you can get her in the store along with other beautiful designs and of course our March collab with spends over $10.
I've used a fairy charm attached to ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, a doily from The Hobby House and papers by Memory Box from Crafty Emma's store - I even found a scabbby pair of scissors to run round the edge :c)
Sentiment is from Personal Impressions and you can't see it in the picture but her wings are pearlised and there is glitter in her hair.
Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - recipe
ABC - P for Pink
Paperplay - shabby chic
Papercrafting Journey - things with wings
Little Miss Muffet - designer paper
Crafty Purple Frog - things with wings
Totally papercrafts - pearls and lace
Stamp Something - digiFairy Tale - something with a childs image

Don't be Square at One Stitch at a Time
Our challenge this week at OSAAT was chosen by Nat and she has asked to see anything but square cards. I layered this gorgeous image from Kelley's Kids onto a CD completely forgetting how difficult they are to take pictures of lol!
I've decoupaged her, added diamond glaze with silver glitter, some gems and sakura pens for even more sparkle. The ribbon was a bargain from Tesco after Xmas - 25p for 4 metres
I had 45 wonderful comments on my card for last week to enter by blog candy so I gave them to Random org to chew on and he spat out No 11 which was Liz from laceribbonsbuttonsandbows - will be in touch for your address hun!
Please hop on over to the challenge blog to see what the other girls have created this week and to check out this week's fantastic sponsors

Happy Birthday OSAAT + mini candy
One Stitch at a Time is a year old this week and we're celebrating by having a birthday bash so there's loads of sponsors and loads of prizes for our theme of use pretty things. Work has really got in the way of my playtime this week so I kind of emptied my embellishment box over the desk and then got out the glue dots lol!
The image is Ms Lambchop by Robyn's Fetish and the paper just peeking round the edges is MME Penny Lane which I've been stroking for ages lol! There was originally going to be a birthday sentiment on this but I couldn't squash it on anywhere :c)
As a little birthday gift to you I have some candy that I will send to someone I randomly pick from the comments left while the challenge is running so please leave a comment if you wish to win it (at the time I'm writing this I haven't quite decided what it's gonna be but we all like surprises lol!)

Paper sundaes - recipe (flowers & pink)
Little Claires - anything goes
Mami Doodles - flowers
Stampin with the dragon - anything goes
EDIT:
Here's a pic of my candy (bear not included coz he's mine lol!)

Final One Stitch of the Year
Well Christmas is nearly upon us so we have a very loooooooong challenge for you at One Stitch at a Time - it runs right through to our first challenge of the New Year on 9th January. When we'll be back with a vengeance with our new DT and after a lovely few weeks rest! Hmmmmm kids and hubby off work and in the house together..........................
Just realised I'm posting this at 12:12 on the 12th of the 12th - should have posted it at 12 noon but I've had extra brave pills this week ;c)
Our theme is Surprise Surprise - so I've surprised everyone by making a grown up card without a cute or furry thing in sight. It's an anniversary card for my mum and step dad and surprise surprise I forgot to post it LOL! Will be delivering it as you read this as I'm away playing Santa this weekend "darn sarf" but looking forward to returning "oop north" as soon as I can get away even if we do still have snow :c)
I've used a gorgeous design by one of our newest creators Blackberry Lane called Tulips you can buy it at Stitchy Bear of course. The papers are DCWV and the embossing is the cuttelbug script folder on Core'Dinations. Very simple card just like it's designer LOL!
I would like to enter this into:
If the Shoe Fits - Texture
Sew Many Challenges - flower power
Cute Card Thursday - floral frenzy
Digis with Attitude - use a digi
Delightful Sketches - embossing
Passion for Promarkers - anything goes
Creative Card Crew - anything goes

More Old Stash, New Stash at OSAAT
Another Christmas card from me using Beary Dust's image called Aphrodite that you can buy from Stitchy Bear Stamps. We have fabulous prizes this week again so get creating and join in over at OSAAT for your chance to win some goodies.
Although I've used lots of layers on this card I've kept it fairly flat to reduce the postage on our extortionate charges here in the UK - anything thicker than 5mm is charged extra.
I would like to enter her into:
Saturday challenge, Challenge up your life, Sundays with Chrissy, Crafty Anns, Delicious Doodles, Sew Many Challenges and Design Dollies

Old Stash New Stash
Red Stash Blue Stash - sorry gone a little bit mad here being stuck in with the snow so the Dr Seuss misquote can be blamed on my mental health LOL! It's challenge time again over at OSAAT with a theme of old stash new stash so basically use anything you want!
I've used Lil Diva's stamp called Penguin Family here for my hubby's christmas card - I had to keep laying over the table every time I walked past so decided not to use any loose glitter coz it plays havoc with my contact lenses LOL!
Their hats and scarves are coloured with Sakura pens to match the DCWV papers and I used the same papers to punch some snowflakes that I arranged behind the sentiment from Craftwork Cards.I would like to enter them into:
Sew Many Challenges, Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge, Digi Doodle Shop, Stampavie, Design dollies (use at least 5 layers) & Totally Papercrafts (xmas punches)

In with the OSAAT New
In with the New at One Stitch At a Time this week led me back to the bears. They've been off on a picnic recentlybut now it's got a bit cold and damp they've come back in again! This cute little guy is by Lexi Creations and you can adopt him here . As usual we have fab work by the rest of the DT plus maybe a prize or two :c)
The backing paper is MME True Blue (yes it is more of a turquoise) and although I love these papers I was a bit disappointed that there's not more blue in them. The stars a cut using a cuttlebug die from pearlescent silver and core'dinations cardstock as is the tag (another forgotten die) The sentiment is metal but as I received it from a friend on MSE I have no idea where it came from (thanks!)

OSAAT #34 Exclusive Digi Week
We are really really excited this week over at OSAAT as Stitchy has managed to snag us an exclusive from Rick St Denis as he ventures into the world of digi stamps. His drawings and paintings are in the collections of Diana Ross, Sandy Duncan, Sammy Davis Jr. and Jacqueline Onnasis amongst others.
I was even happier when I got my image this week as it is bears!!!!
Is it a card? Or an easel?
Nope it's an advent calendar.........................
The only problem I have now is what to do with the contents of 24 boxes of matches LOL!
The paper is by Chatterbox and I've added various gems and sparkle on the bears but it doesn't show well in the photo.
Please hop over to OSAAT and have a look at what the others girls have done with these fantastic images (more bears) and for your chance to win this week.
I would also like to enter this into:
Ellephantastic, One Stop, Crafty Anns, Bah Humbug, MAWTT, Fab N Funky & A Spoonful of Sugar
