Fancy Folds at IDIC

We're fancy folding over at I Did It Creations this week - I suppose it could be the hospital corners on all your Christmas gifts but it might be more fun to do something else for a bit lol! I don't know whether these are giant snails or it's just a tiny cat I just hope he doesn't fall off and squash one :c)
We're sponsored by Stamping Dragon this week and I've used her Cat on Fence Image that you can buy here. The cutie snail is a special design by Jeanette from Stampin Dragon that you can buy by following the link from my sidebar. He comes in seasonal and every day versions for £1.50 each and is being sold to raise funds for the Ear Trust. The ticket is by Stitchy Stamps.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Stampin with the Dragon - make it sparkle
Digi Doodle Shop - animals / insects
Stampin Bs - use a star
AIF - holidays

Eh? What? Pardon?

How many of us have been driven up the wall by our children no listening to us? Unfortunately for some families it's not just a case of lack of concentration. My friend Trisha's grand-daughter recently had a cochlear implant and she is now raising funds to support The Ear Trust.
The wonderful Janette from Stampin Dragon has designed a wonderful snail Digi in everyday and xmas versions that you can buy from here to help raise some much needed funds.

Fantasy at OSAAT

It's fantasy over at OSAAT this week so you need to dig out those dragons and flush out those fairies lol!
We've also had a bit of a merger so the store is now called Stitchy Bear & I Did it Creations Crafting Emporium (what a mouthful) but now I don't have to toss a coin which shop I link to for my DT projects plus there are some fantastic new creators in there so you might like to nip over and fill a basket or two ;c)

I had a really difficult task picking my image this week as I was working with Stamping Dragon so it was a no brainer that it was going to be a dragon but which one???? Janette also creates scrap kits and papers so once I saw the Basic Christmas papers it made up my mind. This is Jiggy with presents with his paper pieced plaid hat and presents - I was originally going to piece the ribbons as well but chickened out and  coloured them with promarker. I also added gems where the baubles should be to hide my dodgy craft knife cutting :c) The gold holographic card was from the pound shop and the sentiment is a Craftwork Cards one surprise surprise!

Fancy Folds at I Did it Creations

When I realised the challenge at I Did it Creations this week was fancy folds the conversation in my head went something like this - I'll make a sidestep card - hmmm not done one of them before - how can I cut the side bit straight without my guillotine - what else can I do? - but I want to do a sidestep - OK I'll find a tutorial so I used this one

We are sponsored by Stamping Dragon Designs this week and I've used Jiggy with Flowers that you can buy in the shop here. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. The papers are all My Mind's Eye - the blue is Bohemia and the flowers are made from Penny Lane using 2 sizes of EK Success retro flower punches

I would also like to enter it into:
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Kah Wink E Dink - Anything goes as long as it's cool
Anything Goes Challenge - Punches
Creative Inspirations - Animals
Rosie D's - All creatures great and small
Digi Doodle Shop - Cut me or punch me

DT call at Stamping Dragon

Janette from Stamping Dragon is having a DT call and even better she's letting everyone play with this gorgeous Jiggy image :c)
The Dungarees papers I've used are by Toucan Scraps which you can buy here or here and you can check out the other Stamping Dragon designs in those two stores as well.
Jiggy is coloured with Cool Grey 1, pastel and denim blue Promarkers.
The fern branch die is from Little Claire
The flowers are a Joy die.
The sentiment is a Lily of the Valley stamp

I've not used any foam pads in the hope that I can post it with a normal First Class stamp as I have loads of single ones that I bought from the self service machine in the mistaken impression that I was buying them in books grrrrrr!

I would like to enter him into the following challenges:
Stamp, scrap & doodle - animals
Paper Sundaes - make your own flowers
The Pink Elephant - brown
Papertake - cute
Pixie Cottage - double up
C.R.A.F.T. - out of this world
Crafty Sentiments Digi - 3 dps

OSAAT - Military!

The challenge this week over at One Stitch at a Time is Military - after much head scratching I came up with the idea of using camo paper on my card. I was lucky enough to be able to work with this fabby bear called Christmas Teddy and Scalf by Stampin Dragon Designs. I paper pieced his hat and scarf with the same camo paper and flocked the brim of his hat but it didn't come out on the photo.

The border is punched using my new X Cut Diamond border embossing punch and the sentiment is a Craftwork Cards Oh My Word.

I would like to enter him into:
Cards for Men - Xmas in July
Fussy & Fancy - Xmas in July Part II
Papercutz - Xmas in July
Papermake up - Critters
Peartree Designs - Animals
Magical Crafts - Xmas in July
Little Red wagon - nestabilities (scallop circle behind sentiment)
Theme Thursday - Animals

Belles & Bears

I don't have many Belles & Whistles stamps - in fact I now have the sum total of 2 although I do have a couple of Sugar Nellie ones that Elisabeth Bell did the Illustrations for. When my new one from the Forever Young collection arrived this week I dug the others out and made these 3 cards.
The backing paper on this one is by Stamping Dragon designs called Gentle Muse which you can buy from Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I would like to enter this into:
Teddy Stampers - Love Your Teddy
Quixotic - Pretty Pearls
Beary Sweet - embossing
Totally Papercrafts - One for the Girlies
Craftalicious - Cute
The left hand one of these is a Sugar Nellie stamp and I've used My Minds Eye papers that were free with Cardmaking & Papercrafting magazine and my EK success paw print punch plus a few bear punchies.
The right hand one is a Belles and Whistles stamp with more free MME papers (a different set) from the same mag and my Martha Stewart Lattice edge punch. The mini cream roses are from Mei Flower.
I would like to enter these into Incy Wincy's challenge - punches
The left hand one uses the current sketch on The Sweetest Thing and the right hand one uses the Create 4 Fun sketch

Baby Dragon

Stamping Dragon Designs has a DT call at the moment and the card had to made with this image of Rockabye Jiggy. I don't normally make cards this big but having decided to paper piece my dragons I had to give my wobbly craft knife hand some hope of not cutting important bits off.

Here's a close up of the ribbon I threaded through to make a bow and the doily I used as a background - note to self make sure you only use one next time as I stood the card up and the 2nd one and the dragons dropped off lol!
Sideways on to show the layers and decoupaged noses.
Paper is English Paper company
