Happy Bearday

Quicky from me today as I'm busy, busy, busy but trying to get back into the habit of posting something every day.
I don't normally do yellow in any way shape or form but this cute bit of ribbon dropped onto the floor so I used it.

Teddy Bo Tuesday

It's that day of the week for new bears and friends - she says in her best Sale of the Century voice-over voice!
I no longer live close to Norwich where it was made but did for a number of years.

It's still Team B with Pearls and Swirls over at the challenge blog today. I do have a card but if I showed you I would have to shoot you as it's tall child's birthday card and I've already had to hide it twice!!!!
so I've scheduled a post for Sunday when she will have had it.

PS Don't forget to enter my candy - here

One I forgot

A big huge wave to my new followers - thank you for stopping by

You're going to be seeing a fair bit of rubber from me in the next couple of weeks as I attempt to reduce my un-inked stamps pile so I can put them away in the boxes and hubby will be none the wiser.
What he can't see he can't ask about :c)

This is a Little Claire stamp on First Editions paper with a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
I was a very lucky girl yesterday and won the LOTV weekly candy so have a £10 voucher to spend - 2 hours later and I can't make up my mind............

The crazy challenge

Non-Smoke Aversary candy

It's 12 months today since I smoked. I will have to admit to my giving up being assisted by the consumption of a large number of Jaeger bombs and a greasy burger the preceding evening but hey ho it worked!!!

You may remember a picture of some pink flowery fabric from a couple of months ago which has now become a bag made by me which I will send to the lucky winner. It's roughly the size of a magazine like the one Pansy is sitting on above.

If you would like to win please add your name to the linky below and post the piccy in your side bar as my cat is very vain and would like to see herself displayed all over blogland.
There is no need to become a follower but I'd like it if you did.

I will draw the winner on Friday 16th March

You can get another entry by liking my Facebook Page and leaving a comment

PS if anyone is trying to give up at the moment - I understand your pain but it does get better honest and you get soooooooooo much more time

Neat Freak or not?

I seem to have got a reputation as a hyper cleaning neat freak over at Teddy Bo so I thought I would show you a couple of pics of my craft room.
Yes I do go in there and create things but have to put it all away or it drives my bonkers.
The flowery boxes were from B&M bargains and the cardboard ones for my promarkers were from ebay
Hubby has just announced that I will have to share my craftroom as part office when we move - will just have to make sure it's a really big room LOL!

Happy Sunday

Fairytale Friday

This started off in my head as a vintage coloured card with Teddy Bea on so it's close NOT!
Postie went and delivered set 3 promarkers and some embossing folders so it would have been naughty to put them away without at least trying them out lol!

It's D'Arcy Day

I think I've finally caught up with the washing although I still seem to have loads to do which is keeping me away from my Hobbit Hole :c(

There's a new release of D'Arcy's today and I've used one on my card - yes she is holding a chocolate heart!!

Time for another totally useless stitch along post!
I don't seem to have created much volume this moon but in my defence I always use a double thread folded in half so my leftovers are tiny :c)

If you want to join in please hop over to Daffy Cat.

Did you Miss Me?

I've been to Amsterdam for a few days!
Fortunately hubby is an avid collector of Holiday Inn points so we had 3 nights for free at the Crowne Plaza.
We could have timed it a bit better as Man U fans were everywhere on the Thursday for their game with Ajax but they soon disappeared.
We walked what felt like several hundred miles mainly to keep warm between hostelries although the prices were quite hair raising.

I don't have a card for Teddy Bo Tuesday today as after picking tall child up we only got back at 8pm last night and conveniently it's not my teams turn :c) There is some lovely new stuff in store as well.

Ballerina Bunny

I stumbled upon Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps completely by accident I think from someone's Facebook wall.
I just couldn't resist the new bunnies released earlier in the week.

Bunny Bubbly

I made myself a valentine card as I know hubby forgot to ask tall child to make him one before she went to her dad's for half term. Just in case he's forgotten :c)
I've had this stamp in my uninked pile for 4 months oops! Soooo cute though.

Sassy Sally

I think I'm suffering from mixin-ma-digis.
There are so many fabulous ones around at the moment it's really hard to
a: stick to my non-existent budget
b: decide where to shop.

This is a new one from Sassy Cheryl and I've made the card to fit the no DP challenge.
I've embossed some card stock and punched various flowers with my retro flower punches
Button (and fingers) coloured with Promarkers as I didn't have one to match.

Sew Tuesday

Happy Valentines Day!!!
it's Tuesday again and the second week of our Love is in the Air challenge and as I'm writing my post I realise that I didn't use the heart button that I had sat on my desk - too late now as the card is already in the post lol!

I made my own masking word tape after seeing the idea on Brenda's blog. I should really have taken a pic of it before I added it to the card as you can't really see it too well.
I used masking tape from the £1 shop and stamped "dream", "believe" and "inspire" in both milled lavender and weathered wood distress inks then left it to dry.

More Orange

Those My Mind's Eye papers worked themselves to the top of the pile again and I even used a Promarker colour I don't think I'd used before on this Bugaboo Itchy image - Spice.

Still trying to decide whether to order the limited edition colours or some more flexmarkers instead - the joys of being on a budget LOL!

Pre Order and coming soon at Teddy Bo

Price for the markers includes P&P in the UK!

Winter Birthday

It's amazing how much time I seem to have lost this last week but am approaching normal now even though it's half term here at the moment!
I haven't made a D'Arcy card for a while and found this image lurking on my desk in a pile of a few (cough!) others

Am playing catch up at the moment :c)
I've posted him back up North this morning until Friday so should hopefully get a few more bits made up

Quilted Bea!

It's Friday already - yet again! I have no idea where my life is disappearing to lol!
Our challenge over at Teddy Bo is use a heart and I've used the same layout papers and colours for my card on Tuesday and changed the image - well they were all out over the desk :c)

Peeking Penguin

It wouldn't have been hubby's birthday without a penguin of some sort :c)
I printed this guy out months and months ago and have now forgotten where he came from.
The heart is a Nellie Die

He holds an IOU for a weekend in Amsterdam - hopefully when it's a bit warmer!!!!!

Another D'Arcy!

We have a new release of D'Arcy's today but I've used one from the last lot as I've promised myself that I will wade through the huge pile of printed images I have on my desk before I print any more.

I did find a new black ink cartridge this morning looking for something else so I may have told myself a small fib as technically I need to use the old one up to declutter a tad (well every little helps) lol!

Have a Mice Day

Some random bits I put together to make a card lol!
Think the paper might be Funky Fairies and the image may be Designed to Delight.
I do know the sentiment is Craftwork Cards

Yesterday was hubby's birthday and rather than the usual penguin birthday card DD decided that he should have a purple elephant instead - a change is as good as a rest!

The wonderful thing about Tiggers

Is he's the only one I'll be stitching for a while especially with the gingham border!!!
It seemed like a good idea at the time and looks lovely but it was definitely a labour of love.

This definitely qualifies for the Craft Your days Away challenge of stitching as there are just a few on it lol!

Have a Heart at Teddy Bo

I think Bo looks like Val Doonican here with his snazzy jumper :c)
Guess I'm really showing my age here but Saturday night tv just isn't the same now lol!

Our new theme over at Teddy Bo this time is use a heart and I went with completely non-traditional colours for my card today

He is one of the new graphics for this week
